It always smelled more woody,musky and mysterious to me so I was interested in it for that but if the staying power is crap no way I'm spending that much on it . I hope they do something about the staying power

I love Parisienne. Oh, well, different people like different fragrances. But I would like to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your make up! You look flawless!!!

@channelesque Thanks for the tip - this is one of my first YSL scents ever so I'm not really familiar with their range. I am definitely going to go check those out (not that I need any more fragrances, haha) :)

LOL i totally agree with you...I LUV this perfume and, yes, the ad campaign totally contradicts the scent.

Comes out as a very musky rose on me with an underlaying of sweet :) I also get a bit of vinyl. love it. but it's not super sweet on me like what you're describing.

@pinkabuki I think I smelled it a couple of years ago... I don't remember it being as sweet as the YSL but it's still quite a sweet scent, really strong on the roses from what I remember :)

@Sanbika89 I hope so! It's supposed to be an EDP and it's got worse staying power than my toilettes! It's such a disappointment... But I guess it's marketed on brand power alone rather than the product and its merits :(

I've just brought this fragrance today, and I've had it on about 2 hours and its pretty much disappeared already, cant really complain as I just got the 90ml for £35. Love the review :) xo

I never understood the video either. I heard there were other hidden notes not mentioned on sites. Like vinyl and lacquer. I'm not sure I smell it either. "Urban and bold aromas of vinyl and lacquer, reminding us of the special scent of a cosmetic bag, make up and high-heels on the hot city asphalt. "

@nishlika Ahh I do love the smell of the perfume though, just the scent life lets it down for me - but it smells so delicious :) And thank you so much for saying that - I'm most definitely not without my flaws, but it's always lovely to get a compliment :D

@staciarose20 I also heard that, and couldn't smell them. It sounded like a pretentious marketing team trying to add some mystique to their product, but in the end it's still just a very sweet perfume. Nice, but I can't smell the vinyl, haha :)

i am as dissapointed as u about buying it..it doesnt really smell as strong as i thought it would and it does not even last long..like really 2 hours or less u dont feel like ur wearing perfume at the end of the day..not worthy at all
