Pogorelich's control over dynamics is abosolutely insane!

The interpretations of Pogorelich and Argerich of this particular repertoire is so so close to my heart. Thankyou 🍂

It must've been difficult to chose the colour scheme for such contrasting pieces yet you smashed it out of the park and set an appropriate tone for all three pieces with just these two!
@EppurMusic3 жыл бұрын
Very interesting that you bring this up. The choice of colours is indeed solely based on what you feel is right and what you feel expresses the music the best, but it's obviously a very abstract and personal concept.

I love this piece. I saw an interview / documentary of Pogorelich and his wife Alice Kezeradze breaking down Gaspard de la Nuit measure by measure based off the Aloysius Bertrand poems that inspired Ravel to compose this piece. In fact this piece is named after the collection. Love to see it in this format, thank you!

idk but I have to thank you for this. this even relates me because of the following: ondine: it represents me crying le gibet: it represents me in a depressive state, meaning I am very depressed scarbo: it represents me in a state of rage and anger thank you for this piece.

Amazing suite, I had strangely just searched for Rousseau's version (I enjoy that visualization immensely), and then got the notification for this one. May I ask what the process is for making these visualised MIDI pieces from real audio recordings? Much love from Canada ❤️

Я тоже предпочитаю Дебарга. Его "Ундина" самая лучшая,просто гениальнейшее исполнение М.Равеля.

kudos to your ear skills - that's no small feat matching the timings for every single note. On the plus side, I imagine you couldn't have had a better recording/performance to delve this deeply into.
@EppurMusic Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. This is indeed the hardest piece I ever had to synchronize. Some passages like 4:53 are extremely confusing and had to be synched note by note, basically. In some other places, the notes are barely audible, like 20:16. In these circumstances, the synchronization is pretty much a guessing game.
