That’s a beautiful thing to hear that Ravel wrote a letter to Sir Alex. Young Ravel had the world at his feet. Ravel’s goal against Spurs for West Ham was pure world class.

it's always broke my hearth to see an amazing talent in football that just couldn't get what they expected them to be, it's always brings question of what if, i've seen ravel played, and he was amazing, i could only imagine just how good he will be in the next 2-3 years. But then again, if SAF, one of the greatest manager, and a master of man management couldn't manage him, then no one can.

Poor guy. You can hear the regret in his voice. Funny enough i think if he got super fit and disciplined he could play regularly in the BPL you don't lose that kind of talent EVER. Just mentality and fitness.

The fans so wanted Ravel to settle and do well at West Ham, he was gaining adoration, such as shame what happened. Things were going really well too. Personally, I'd have him back now.

Why???
@ThatBritishSnep3 жыл бұрын
To be fair, people go on about how Ravel didn't have the mentality to flourish into a great player, but that all starts when clubs give him a chance. Ravel had the world at his feet at Manchester United and Sir Alex was a massive role model to him, something he didn't get at West Ham, or any of the other clubs he moved to, hence why he didn't get a chance after he left Old Trafford, any chance of Ravel getting his career back on track just didn't materialise.

Is it just me or does Ravel sound really emotional in this?Or is that just how he normally talks?
@jch22113 жыл бұрын
For all I have read about Ravel over the years after watching the interview I really really feel for him. He may have had a much better career if people had realised his problems much earlier and given him the support, guidance and love he needed. I thought Fergie would have been the man to help him and shudder at the thought of him having to deal with that fat corrupt bastard Allardyce. I don't particularly ;like Harry either but think he would have been the one to help him realise what Fergie said he was capable of. Good luck Rav with the rest of your career and life from a none United fan you have been let down.

Not sure his treatment of women and criminal record makes him better than sam Allardyce Met lots of lads like ravel and they become very good at sounding like there remorseful and manipulations

Harry Wilson did more in one season than RM has in 10 . Can name dozen of youth players who were talked up and said to be detained for greatness. Only difference is they played and the truth was found out . While he played odd few few games here and there . West ham would not of got rid of a world class player as would not the other 10 teams . Dont understand what he actually done to get the idea he WC . He 29 not 19 . Also done well , stan collymore get slaughtered daily for what he did while RM got form for doing at and more.

@@kopitegs Well Rio Ferdinand said in training he'd go past people for fun and that Alex Ferguson said he was the best youngster he'd ever seen at the club, better than Rooney, Giggs, everyone. Plus the fact when he played you could see how good he was on the ball. Apparently he didn't have the mental aspect to focus and improve upon that.
@kopitegs3 жыл бұрын
@@sonsofbiscuits1 all being said and done . You need to have the mentality and brain and will . His record is are he can hold up. Imagine how good Robbie Fowler would of been in UTD team back then. Imagine how good 100s of players would be if they had CR mentality. It not fair to give people credit for thing when other like CR had to actually do it . Training is different,very to games . Steven Gerrard said in training Vladimir smicer is head and shoulders above everybody I doubt you'd think that about the play you seen on a Saturday

Sam Allerdyce is one of the worst men pf football. If a kid, man , human has a medical condition ut the Premier league say he's not allowed to take it. Holy f$$k. Seriously Ravel was let down by so many. Medical teams and people should have always done more. For starters let him take meds. Especially meds that aren't performance enhancing.
