Definitely one of the best 17-18 year old players I've seen. I think all things considered Rooney might be the best I saw, closely followed by Giggs. But in terms of technical prowess and raw ability I think Ravel beats both of them (and Greenwood who is right up there). He had that quality of Rooney where at 17-18 he was already able to compete with men, but technically better. I always thought he was like Rivaldo.

I saw him play for the reggae boyz think he deserves one more chance, he’s a gem. I’d be happy if he’s linked with Steven Gerrard and gets his second chance in the premier league with Aston Villa. He’d be able to go down a club legend if he’s able to show even a fraction of his potential.

People talk like Ravel’s a nobody languishing in League 1 or 2. Yes, he might not be where he could’ve been but Boro is still a high level - and on-loan from a currently high-flying, well-run Premier League club let’s not forget. So there’s scope there for Ravel to still do well in the coming years.

RAVEL. I'm all over the internet hoping to catch your attention. Please work on your intensity level. Faster and quicker over short spaces.. Please do alot of Short Sprinting & leg work. Sprint hard between short spaces until your body can cope at high intensity. You are a massive talent. But your pace in midfield is the problem that everyone has. It's too much of a set back, a risk to play at your tempo. You must learn to affect the tempo of the game with your talent. 6 months of committed work, & yur good to go. Do alot of sprint work. High intensity hard sprinting

Maxwell Severins maybe reread the start of the conversation. The last 25 years we’ve been to 5 compared to 2 finals so I don’t really see what your point is. Sure, Leeds are a big club and the early 2000s we’re great but they’ve come with a big price literally for nearly 20 years. We’re just lucky that we have a great chairman that when we did have the likes of Viduka, JFH, Mendieta he cut back. My original point is Middlesbrough are too often dismissed and our achievements are overlooked because it’s a small town. Also, speaking of the league we’re only 2 places below you in the all time Prem table. Not bad for “nothing club”
