From seeing Gary Numan live in 1979 while I was at Uni to his daughters now carrying the musical baton is just wonderful. I would never have imagined it back then. He must be so proud of Raven and Persia 🥰 This is a great track ! PS. For Numan fans old and new, here is Gary's playlist from October 7th 1979. I daresay we haven't heard the last from Persia - she's a very talented composer, from what I gather: "My Name Is Ruin" was her idea, the main riff for it. But if they're wise, the Numan family will probably make room for each to launch their career in turn rather than divide public attention. Raven is off to a brilliant start, with 2 singles out so far. I wonder what the next one will be like?

The lyrics are great, good perspective of subject matter and the spiralling effect of it all, deeper into the darkness whilst feeling it’s warm deathly embrace. Sonically it’s great, melody, vocals and great chorus. The video was good, almost along the vein of train spotting scene, the struggle and suffering, the ultimate ending of the path traveled on.
