Hi Raven, fellow Virgo here to thank you for finding the couch I've been wanting for my library. I had this in mind but was going to pay for a reupholster (which I still might do), but it is wonderful to see it new so I have the option to simply buy it! Also, it sometimes takes decades to decorate a house. It is a very expensive and time consuming thing. Don't beat yourself up and try to enjoy the process. In fact, I'd recommend putting a limit on how much you'll tackle in a year. There is no rush.

Awww poor baby.... A house I installed multiple related ceramic tile options in North Raleigh, said they had contractors in their home for over 5yrs soooo... Moral of the story is. Expensive is not always better. I have an American Signature Furniture rug and it’s heavy and been here for over 6 years. The color has not faded or loss any parts

Take your time and do it at your own pace. I purchased in 2019 as well and ran into the same issues, but was able to finish everything just before covid hit. There were still major delays with furniture delivery, but I eventually got everything and all is well. I think with me, I started thinking about the design as soon as I started to build the house. So, by the time I moved, I hit the ground running with the contractors (painting, crown molding, stonewall, etc.), Sherwin Williams for all of the paint and wallpaper, wayfair, Macy’s, Haverty’s, etc. for my furniture, and the list goes on and on. All that took me 1.5 years to finish due to all of the delays. Now, I’m working on the backyard. Just finished the composite deck, and the patio, grill station/Doug door kitchen combo is next. I ordered my patio furniture from BCP and outdoor rugs from Wayfair. I still have a ways to go on the outside, but it’s coming along nicely. Raven check out Studio McGee, Kinwoven, and Julie Khu, you will get some great inspiration.

Patience seems I be key in any project because we are dealing with human beings that make mistakes and COVID still looming over our lives! But in a few years everything will be done and you’ll have gained lots of life’s lessons, blessings and memories as will Ziya!!! I totally understand your decorating dilemmas. My husband and I built and moved into our house in 2018 and I am not finished with it either. I feel like taking my time. Finding the pieces that make me happy. I have all the large pieces of furniture. I am just doing the accessories and art pieces. That is the difficult part for me.

Wow what a process! I know pottery barn is mostly a kid brand but you can actually find some cute stuff there. RH is my favorite brand but it’s a little pricey. BUT RH TEEN is everything! It’s much more affordable but is still very stylish and cute! Hope this helps.
