Thanks for having us, Shane! What a wonderful playing! We have been a fan since we began playing the guitar, it’s still surreal to see our pedals here

Wanted to let you know after seeing your video, I decided to order this pedal. It is every bit as fantastic as you demonstrated! I'm getting rid of my BOSS BD-2 on my pedal board and replacing it with this pedal. In case someone orders it, just a heads up they make them to order so it'll take a couple weeks before you get it, at least that's what I experienced after emailing them. It wasn't sitting in stock ready to ship. This is a GREAT pedal!

I think the folks that are negative are the same ones who use joyo and call it boutique. If ya can’t afford it, just say that!

Very nice clean and clear blues tone without all the Mudd and distortion. One of the best pedals among the 3,000 different pedals available today. Pedals are like cable channels. Too many to choose from

Nice video mate. I can pretty much pull all those tones however out of a cheap Joyo American Sound, although it's a little noisy and not great build quality, and I don't use it anymore :) Keep up the good work.

Great demo Shane and fabulous playing!One question, how much of that great tone we are hearing can be attributed to you using a great amp? My experience with buying pedals that sound great on KZbin is that they are never as good with my amps as demonstrated online. Thanks again Shane

@@intheblues It’s just my opinion , they’re manufactured in Taiwan .
@RyanGunns Жыл бұрын
@@tbone2451 A lot of things changed after 1980's, cost of living in taiwan is as much as in Japan. Taiwan is not a cheap labor country anymore.
@KahruSuomiPerkele Жыл бұрын
@@tbone2451 Taiwan has changed since the 80's, the days of okay quality electronics at a very low cost. The cost of living increased a lot since then. Not only that but the country now manufactures the highest quality semi-conductor in the world. TSMC produces the chips that are in most electronics around you. It's still a little bit a manufacturing country because the minimum wage hasn't increased by much since the 2000's

I might have missed this but how different does it sound with 18v vs. 9v?
@intheblues Жыл бұрын
I can never hear any difference between 9 and 18v on any pedal I've tested.
@andychen5559 Жыл бұрын
For what i experienced from this pedal, 18V gives you a more "clean blend" in your overdriven tone. and also gives the pedal more dynamic range, less compression very useful when stacking pedals.
@stoneysdead689 Жыл бұрын

are you sure about that? When Googling Ravenstone Apollo onto Google, I have like 23 results that are about this pedal and the rest is the usual Google nonsense. Most results are also from 2022. This find makes me question your research methods.

an overdrive sounding like an overdrive? Surprising.
@edmondlaw61463 ай бұрын
I have both of them. They are different. Joyo Vintage is good copy of Tubescreamer, and Apollo V2 provide much more subtle options and exquisite tone.
