I really like the products tbh, i think the set is good for drafts. I understand the price point doesn't feel good enought. But on the long run it will still be a good products to unpack once in a while.

CLB was a great draft set with extremely fun cards designed for edh. Sure it was initially a bit overpriced but I think there was real value there with great new design that wasn't completely power crept. RVR is all reprints of mostly low value cards with the only real value being in serialized shock lands. The two aren't comparable imo

No it isn't Baldur gates was not a reprint set and had a ton of fun abilities. It had long therm potential, I knew it then, opened a lot because I loved the set and I knew people would end up comming around as it is fun to play with. Ravnica is way way worse, it doesn't bring new stuff to the game on top of being financially kinda worthless to open.

“No one cares” is EXACTLY how I feel about this upcoming set. Same feeling for the Fallout and assassin’s creed sets due later this year. Really bad theme choices and approaches for a lot of sets this year 😬

Any thoughts on this given 4 months have passed and value of this set hasn't gone down? By the way I agree with you, the set itself had great cards but it was way too expensive. Just that the shocks and the overall cards in the set haven't lost value.

The math on the serialized cards and pull rates puts it around the same print run as usual so definitely not scaled back.

@@ShannonBarber78 don't let distributors bully you around. they need the business and if they don't treat you well, go somewhere else. and why would you even want the next set, or future sets? if you only buy on the low, you'll save a ton of money.

Be Well and hope Ravnica Remastered give you a little time off work. 😊 As a Collector I will not buy into this product due to Remaster sets being the less interesting ones. Bought a DMR but waited, got some good value but this set even with Manga Art is bleh. 2023 was good in Magic but this is a bad start of the year.
