This is raw aerial footage from Global News Traffic Helicopter (Global 1) of the flood submerging Downtown Calgary and Surrounding areas on Friday Morning. The flood took place within a few hours embracing and evacuating the heart of Calgary. Other communities outside the city affected by this huge flood were Canmore, Bragg Creek, High River, Okotoks, and more.

I had lived on 14 Ave half a block from the tennis club in a basement apartment. So happy I moved to higher ground in the suburbs before this nasty flood.
