I follow so many channels on youtube.. You are the first person that does the same thing as me. When it's late and everyone is sleeping I go to the mountains and just ride. No pressure, no races, no traffic, just me and the car. Its not about fastest time down or up the mountain, its about enjoying the ride and having fun. Great video!

Neck did you still drive on the mountains? I bought a car a half year ago, here, in Brazil, doesn't have mountains but have some few old roads like this in the videos... Man, it's the best feeling ever. My car is not fast, not expensive, very cheap by the way, 1.0 l engine, but with some modifications, the exhaust sound is goddammit good, the pleasure is insane. You have videos? And you o_o s2000, why you stop posting videos? Man to me you're a legend. Get back to the videos. I will start soon posting my too! The moments you so desperately try to depict; the micro seconds of pure bliss, the pure awareness of your own mortality, is the reason why I breath. You've got the vigilance to record these moments. Where as I try to live it by mind. Perhaps recording maybe a better way to look back when I'm grown and old.. Maybe some day I will catch you or more likely you will catch me on the touge. 😘

@o_OS20008 жыл бұрын
+Brandon Saunders Yeah I definitely don't recommend to attempt what they see in the videos, and everyone should generally stick to one lane but even in this video there are places where it makes sense to cut because of what is happening in the road or if there is a ton of visibility up ahead. I can't really logically explain it but it is something you learn when and where to do and when and where to always avoid. Knowledge of a road is EXTREMELY important before learning to drive it quickly.

Yo, finally. I've watched your vids many times. What frame rate you record at? When I record with my phone, it looks like I'm going as fast as a snail.
@o_OS20008 жыл бұрын
+Tomáš T. After a lot of testing I found that I prefer shooting at 50fps on the GoPros. For some reason 60 feels weird to me but 50 is good and does a good job being more immersive and capturing the real sense of speed. Doing a POV view rather than mounted to the car helps a lot too as you can see in this video. POV view feels much faster than the fixed view. Field of view is also important, too wide and the actual road in front of the car is so small in frame it doesn't really work, and too narrow (zoomed in) and it is really disorienting.
@hovnojede0101018 жыл бұрын
***** Thanks, man, appreciate it. I'm looking to buy my first GoPro incl. an external mic (or a Sony action cam - heard those are good, too) to use it for the same things as you. Keep it up! P.S: I envy your road network. Yeah, you can't really overtake there due to the yellow lines, but god damnit aren't those twisty canyon roads awesome!
@o_OS20008 жыл бұрын
+Tomáš T. I just got a GoPro Hero4 and Hero 4 Session. They are MUCH better at accurately representing color at night. I used to have to do a lot more color correction to get accurate colors in my videos with the Hero3, with the Hero4s it is much much nicer right out of the camera.
@hovnojede0101018 жыл бұрын
***** Good to hear. I'll see if I can stretch my budget - the 4's are kinda pricey. I guess you use an external microphone, right?
