I just found your channel and it’s so refreshing to see someone implement such gentle methods with true patience and understanding of what that particular horse needs for proper communication of what you’re asking. I personally enjoy watching other horseman because I believe we never stop learning. I’ve picked up quite a few tips from your videos that will help me greatly with a grulla tobiano stallion I picked up a few days ago that was scheduled for a slaughter truck 3/20/23. Great! You help me a lot with your movies. I have a 5 year old mare, half arabian, half hannover sport horse, who lived untill now almost untouched on a pasture. Her temperament is very hot, no halter broken, dont know how to lead....nothing. I live in Romania, Europe, and here untouched horse are very rare to almost zero, so, nobody know nothing about how to tame such a horse. She is a green horse, and an arabian, I am a green horse trainer. Perfect combination 🥳🥳🥳 I have begin to make some progres with her, but I desperately need someone to answer me to a few questions. When you talk about some of your horses being WILD I wonder what you intend to mean. Are they truly BLM horses recently off the range? Just curious… Anyway, I would take an untouched horse any day over an abused horse who has every reason to not let humans close. I just started working with an abused horse saved in TX from the Mexico slaughterhouses, adopted and shipped here to Michigan 3 weeks ago. He has lots of fear but in the first 10 hours over the weekend we’ve made lots of progress yielding hind quarters over, about 4 touches of his nose to my hand, and doing very close proximity work in much smaller circles all around him than when we started out. Also with thousands of approaches and retreats to desensitize him to people walking up with a halter and lead rope. Lots more to do but so rewarding.

Hi Philip, thanks for your comment. The horse in this video is not wild at all and I never said he was. In other videos whenever I say a “Wild Horse” I literally mean untouched by humans and that they were thrown on a trailer and hauled 500miles to us from a Desert. I live in South America so there are no mustangs here. We have wild horses on thousands of acres of Spanish decent. Yes sometimes it’s easier to work with a wild horse vs a horse that has been traumatized by improper human interaction! I’m glad to hear the good progress you’re having with your horse! Keep up the good work!

You messed up at 8:44 and lost a great opportunity, we all make mistakes but I thought I should point it out. That would have been a great time to draw in and get a touch then release for a min before starting over. The horse was looking for it, you missed it and then the horse got confused for the next 5 min. Watch yoru own video you will see it. You are young my advice would be don't rush it. A great horse even for the best trainers takes a long time. No Clinton Anderson sucks just in case your think that dude is a good horseman he is not, one of the worst IMHO. No flooder it's a good horseman.

Hey buddy. The thing is that there's no one correct way to train a horse. So it's impossible for me to mess up. Anything I do is the right thing to do...according to me. Just like anything that I do, that you consider wrong, is only wrong from your perspective. And your perspective is a tiny GoPro on a post and mine is obviously better. Having established that- yes, I can see what you point out and I think I could have done as you suggested and it would have probably worked. As far as taking things too fast, well again that's just an opinion. What is too fast for you works great for me.
