This was a fantastic meditation on an ultra marathon. Absolutely beautiful. This is why I love British racing so much - no flashy checkpoints, no yelling spectators - just raw land and sheer effort.

What a beautiful comment, thank you Linda, glad you enjoyed it!

This was amazing. The weather was unreal ...I can't imagine enduring that, but I come close because of your great video! The few minutes of all the guys in that room with their bags looked like the walking dead....and to see Gordon continue with the others was truly inspiring

Glad you enjoyed it, really appreciate your kind words. Yeh sure was brutal out there.

You were able to make the race actually feel long. I think the longer shots give that feeling a lot better than just seeing people when they're low. Great work.

Thanks Scott S! That was the plan and I'm thrilled that you resonated with the longer shots and that was the feeling it gave, it was the plan but I didn't want to make it too long.

I sat down to look at an ultra being tackled by not super athletes but ordinary runners and I finished looking at extra ordinary runners and super athletes. Loved how camera was held on people as they arrived or departed and caught the wet conditions. I was glad I was snug in my warm bed in Ireland watching.

Hell of a run! I know these places very well from motorcycling through most of them. Beautiful but brutal.

Aye, incredible efforts by them! We love driving through Wales too, not been on a motorbike in a few years but could imagine it being a great day or two out.

Hoka speedgoat to run on tarmac ?
@legitlee83594 жыл бұрын
I only use trail shoes to run on any terrain,some people find it better
@ifonly26754 жыл бұрын
@@legitlee8359 Ok. I do use my speedgoats on easy non techy trails but find them too soft and sticky for the road. Wouldn't see myself doing a half marathon in them !
