It's been a long time since I've ever had to go through government hoops, like that, so I don't envy you in that respect. Hi Jele and Patrick Great to see you are still in Oz. I was getting worried you had fled. Our immigration system is obviously broken. If you arrive illegally on a boat you can stay. But if you do the right thing and apply, our government makes life very difficult. Good luck.

Hey, thanks for your comment! So far we are still here and studies are ongoing for another year but if we don't get invited until then we are not sure if we will keep fighting or just leave and try to find another country...

I'm an aussie that lives in the USA. I'll never go back to Australia. The government in oz makes living there intolerable. Australia is a police state. I'm a dual citizen and would choose America 100x over Australia. I have an entire playground in the west that I overland. Wife and i live in a rig similar to yalls. 6x6 m35a2. Seriously consider the US. Allot more opportunity exists over here.
