I'm an aussie that lives in the USA. I'll never go back to Australia. The government in oz makes living there intolerable. Australia is a police state. I'm a dual citizen and would choose America 100x over Australia. I have an entire playground in the west that I overland. Wife and i live in a rig similar to yalls. 6x6 m35a2. Seriously consider the US. Allot more opportunity exists over here.

Hi P & J, it's Alan from the UK. Lost my PC hard drive, all my facebook accounts and everything else 3 months ago so not up to speed on anything really. Glad to see you have landed on your feet in the Goldcoast but sorry to hear about your immigration woes. It's been a long time since I've ever had to go through government hoops, like that, so I don't envy you in that respect. Like a previous commentator said, you have to take the long term view but also time and age is on your side!! Seasons Greetings from Cornwall. Pasty capital of the World!!!X

The visa system is so corrupt as is the fraudulent student visas. Certain ppl from certain countries definitely get preferential treatment and they don’t even need to speak English. The country isn’t the same including the weather. The last 4 years in south east Queensland has been nothing but miserable, used to be sunshine and beautiful calm warm weather especially in the winter. Weather manipulation geoengieering is definitely happening and admitted. Good luck for the future

Hi Jele and Patrick Great to see you are still in Oz. I was getting worried you had fled. Our immigration system is obviously broken. If you arrive illegally on a boat you can stay. But if you do the right thing and apply, our government makes life very difficult. Good luck.

When I was a young 17 year old back in 1978, I drove down the Gibb River Road in a brand new Suzuki LJ80. The turn off from the highway at the Katherine end all the way to Barnett River Station was like the first section in your vid. If I remember correctly, that section took me at least 3 days to do. The section from Barnett River Station to Just past Windjana Gorge was a graded road about 6 M wide, if that. To me, the GRR is really just another dirt road now. Well done though. Take care and enjoy.
