I'm new to skateboarding how do I control my balance? Also how would I skateboard on the sidewalk when there's lots of ppl

Good question. We all been there. I would suggest finding a flat smooth ground, maybe a large parking lot to avoid any people and cars and start there first to really feel the board and how to turn and then slowly move up
