I used to eat raw salad and find it very difficult to digest. Now I eat similar salad but I steam them and then season like a salad. I am able to eat more veggies without indigestion. So I can totally believe what he is saying.

Because of large pesticide and plant defence chemicals Indian fruits and vegetables are not sold in European supermarket.... Food regulations are are more strict.... And gore sabji boil kar k khaate hai... Except salad

as an Quality incharge in food and beverage company i can say that cooking food at right temperature is very necessary for our health. for example.. if you cook rice at 90°c with enough water and amylase. it breaks starch molecules to smaller molecules which are easy to digest

I agree. People just understand simple thing that nature kind of gave some protection to food so that it can sustain from getting spoiled till its growing in field and Being transported to places.... So that protection part is anti nutrients....that is there to protect the food from external damage for small time. Thats all. That anti nutrient part is not for our consumption. Once we recieve the food we need to peel off the coverings, clean it and cook well, so that it becomes consumable and is appropriate for our digestion.

That MBBS, MD was talking about over cooking in India v/s boiling, blanching, less cooked veggies in US which reduces nutritional value. Boiling, blanching, roasting is enough to remove anti-nutrients in veggies.

Bhai wo doctor specialist hai cancer mein...har kisi ki video pe kuch bhi bol deta hai...anti nutrition hai kya uski bhi baat kar....anti nutrition jaisi koi cheej thodi na hoti hai...kuch logo mein kuch nutrition absorb nhi hota...only kuch logo mein...usse anti nutrition bol dete hai...aur jo log kaafi time kachi sabji khaate hai unme wo problem apne aap khatam ho jaati...aur ye bhi btaao ki boil karne se good bacteria ki bhi assi tassi ho jaati hai
