I tend to eat a veggie based diet. Feel better on a veggie based diet. But, as Ive become older my body seems to need aminal based protein. I limit it to chicken or turkey. So I eat here & there. Was a strict vegaterian for 12 years and have never regained taste for beef, pork or ham.

You have to cut the meat into very small pieces to get the cats more interested. It is more difficult for them to get interested in something they can't chew. These are not wild cats or even feral cats wondering the street. They are used to getting their food in the correct portion size 😁

Yh the cats should've been done individually. But size doesnt really matter if they're interested and have eaten raw meat before. I had my cat from when he was a baby, and I initially thought it'd be good for him to get raw liver every now and then, the first time I cut them up he was still under 1year old, eventually I found out it didnt make much of a difference and could actually do more harm so I stopped doing it, but my mum cooks those foods, liver, pork shoulders, beef steaks, lamb legs, and of course chicken. Imagine our shock when the groceries come and we're busy putting things away and a whole packaged meat produce disappears! He never discriminated, he'd grab whatever he could get away with grabbing 😂 drag his stolen goods into a safe enough space but quick enough cause he knows he has little time, rip into the plastic, then chew away at whatever he can sink his teeth into, first time we caught him, he was 4yrs old, grabbed a lamb leg and had chewed away at the top of the leg before I found him 😂😂, he got away with it maybe 3 more times over the year before we cracked down and created knew habits and I started cooking some meets for him and letting him get little peices of the meat whenever we were chopping. He's not the biggest fan of cooked meat but Im glad its a habit I instilled, I didnt want him getting to much salt and sugars in his system so it was a chore convincing my mum to not give him what she was eating like he was a dog 😒 hes just nosey he wants to smell what we're eating, but doesnt want to eat it. He prefers his raw or plain cooked meats 😂 I've started giving him sardines now that he's old, I'm scared of any health issues i cant afford but I used to avoid them because of the bones 😂😂 i was too scared he'd choke.. like he wasnt built to eat fish I've realised Ive gone on a tangent so Im just gonna stop and press send 🤷🏽‍♀️

You always get upset when I throw up on the floor but here you are shoving weird new food up my nose out of nowhere, what is wrong with you? Is this how you eat? Cats in the wild specialize in hunting specific prey, so their digestive systems aren't good at handling a wide variety of foods. When changing a cat's food, you need to gradually mix them together over days, phasing one in and the other out. They're carnivores, but not all meat is the same and their systems are finely tuned to process one specific kind of food, and need to be given time to adjust when the food has to change. I tried this with half a dozen brands of high end dog food. I would only suggest that the food is put out (I used separate small bowls placed in a line about 8" apart) prior to the dog entering the room. My dog actually went from bowl to bowl and back again before he picked the one he wanted. Then he ate the rest bowl by bowl in some kind of doggie order of preference. Fun to watch.

I did this with my cats for dry food. The one they had liked wasn't sold anymore so I had to find a new one. So I bought about 5 small different packages and watched which one was eaten first, and that's the one they now happily eat.

i arrived at a deer road kill moments after it happened. after contacting the local authorities they told me if i wanted it i could take it and save them a trip out to remove it from the road. i decided to bring it back as a huge treat for my dogs. when i displayed it to them, they had no idea what to do with it. i even cut pieces off for them to show it was food. but they were still clueless about it. i went in to get better cutting implements and when i returned... the cats were on top of it chewing pieces off for themselves! the dogs just laid in the yard watching them. we kept it for 3 days then donated it to the local wildlife. the morning after setting it out for them it was completely gone. and i mean there was nothing left at all.

In my experience, even with domestic or feral, cats tend to usually prefer foods they'd instinctively hunt, beef may be a bit big, so smaller animal meats might be a more accurate example. When domesticated enough, they'll snub their favorite food if not bite sized, lol. They do also tend to be opportunistic when it comes to food and will swipe what they can if interested.

He kept savagely eating it and wouldn't let go. Cats are obligate carnivores, but I think living with us for thousands of years changed their food palate a bit. Not even their identical wild cousin, the African Cat, won't go anywhere near avocados.

I have two cats, they are very different. One is like a garbage truck - eats everything, and looooooves raw meat (usually gets scraps when i’m cooking). He like everything. Yeah, the cooked meat has a stronger smell and cats and dogs both rely far more heavily on smell than taste or sight to find food. But it's worth noting that cats can't live on cooked meat. There are vital amino acids that their bodies don't produce, they can only get them by eating meat, and cooking destroys them.

Молодые овощи на огороде, первый урожай Аргоша поедала😁👍. Ну а сейчас спец питание у неё, дисплазия к сожалению. Вам и вашим замечательным питомцам - здоровья, счастья и удачи🌹 всех благ!

Trout and cod are safe for them here where I live. I don't know how the fish is normally handled where you guys live. But I always give my cat just 2 or 3 small pieces once in a while, just to be on the safe side P.s : Watch your fingers in case little kitty cats turn into crazy tigers 🤣😆🤣

Adorable and so interesting! Yuki was going to eat the raw meat no matter what! So interesting as in the wild raw meat is the catch of the day! Yuki & Monty loved both. Olive truly doesnt like wet & cold. Hey, Im with ya Olive! The cats surprised me as they chow down on mouses. I loved this!!!

Another entertaining video. Cats aren't picky, they are cautious. My two cats eat raw ground beef, but nothing else raw. They eat boiled chicken thighs and poached salmon. I cut their food into small pieces. Happy Mewsday!

I have had rescue wolf dog hybrids and feral cats that would've made short work of those tiny meat pieces (their thoughts). But my also rescued Chihuahua and very domesticated cats wouldn't even think of eating such savage food! Love it!

Какие милые животные!!! Собачки и кошечки просто очарование! Для кошечек большие куски - это неудобная кеда. Они могут вообще не есть если большим куском дашь. Им нужно как в ресторане на мелкие порезать, на стол накрыть, белые салфетки постелить. 😂😂😂 тогда соизволят отведать вкусненькое. 😂😂😂 здоровья Вам и Вашим питомцам!
