RAW: POV Skimboarding a Wedge with World Champions Austin Keen, Bill Bryan, Paulo Prietto

Blair Conklin chases after professional skimboarders and world champions Austin Keen, Bill Bryan, and Paulo Prietto with a GoPro in his grill. When all the conditions align for a rare side wave at Aliso Beach, Skimboarders are the first to jump on it. This unique perspective should offer you some insight in to the cast of characters the skimboarding community offers.

$600 is cheap, my Jackson Guitar is $1700. Have you seen how much surfboards cost? If it’s your hobby you find a way to buy it. Like the next guitar I will get is Deans Vengeance for around $1800 and I’m not a rich guy. I just don’t go throw my money away on other hobbies, like video games or going out to eat. People these days throw their money on video games, clothes, shoes, going out to eat weekly when you should go out to eat maybe once a month, I buy clothes or a pair of shoes every 3-4 years, my wife thinks that I’m crazy for not spending my money on clothes, I tell her you think I’m a chick and find fashion as a hobby? I say pick your hobby and devout your money and time only on that hobby and the rest use it to buy stocks, pay bills and save.

Yo man, I've just bought a skim board, but it has no grip on it. And I think 20" Is a bit small for me. Although I need to practise, I don't think this board can handle me. I'm 1meter 80ish. Would you advise a bigger/better board? And if so which one? Thanks! Much love, from the Netherlands!
