Great video. I have a Leopard 85 and a Laser 130. Still great work horses. They are asked to do too much and are not cared for enough, but they never let me down.

Really enjoyed the video. Have grown up with the real Same tractor as in the air cooled models. A panther 90 with loader that has been around the clock like 3 times and never a issue. A 1992 explorer 80 series 2 special. It floats on water with the tires it was specd with no issues 14000 hrs and a 2000 silver 90 with loader 8000hrs and 1 electric gearbox issue. They are such a simple tractor to work on.

We had a SAME drago 100, it was a brilliant tractor except for sinking in soft conditions. It had an over axle blade on the front and it had a bad habit of breaking right kingpin. Only other bad thing about it was it would break your thumb/wrist if you were to hit something with the front axle. That tractor was probably the most economical we've ever had, even compared to a massey ferguson 168 multi power, the drago burned less diesel/acre slashing Australian native vegetation

Same Laser 110 best tractor I've ever seen to buck rake silage. they would climb the wall of a house. I recall a Farmers Journal article of a guy in Monaghan/Meath somewhere up that side, he had a Titan190 reverse drive on a buckrake pushing up silage from a self-propelled. Anyone else recall seeing that ?

I grow up one a farm in Denmark where the local contractor ran Same and Lamborghini tractors. I especially remember the Lamborghini 1506 which had a cool design and was a big tractor in the 80ties. They also ran some older around 100hp Lamborghini's that were air-cooled, but later Lamborghini's use liquid cooling. The tractors were designed for AWD and did especially well on hilly terain.

I drove an antares 130 in '01 ,it was '96 and hadnt been cared for too well, finding gears was tricky, and the gear sticks were similar to paper straws -not so functional!!. Had the electronic throttle which i liked . The hitch could work its way loose sometimes, very easy on fuel also . Enjoyable tractor to drive ..... Great video Alan, keep them coming !!👍👍 Niall

There were quite a few of the animal name models of SAME around in Ireland in the late 70s. They and Deutz seemed to get less popular from the 80s onward with the growth of Deere and Fendt. Worked for a short while in Treviglio in the late 80s (pronounced tra-veal-yo from memory) where they are manufactured.

Minitauro, leone, saturno.Four wheel drive was still a bit of a novelty in the 70's,great tractor with a push off buck rake on the silage pit!! The air cooled engine didn't seem popular,by which time db,mf and Ford had got their act together, not forgetting deere making big inroads into the UK.👍🚜👍
