I've been skateboarding for 22 years and snowboarding for 15 years. I just recently got into skimboarding and I can honestly say, in my opinion, that surfing is the most gnarly action sport there is. Everything about it is dangerous, at the level these guys are at, from getting caught in the surf or getting attacked by wildlife. Respect.

Bought my first skimboard this week, used to surfing but my legs are killing me from my first sesh!! Harder than it looks. Got some good skims though, also a few good deckings. Just need to find a good spot to be able to reach the waves. Admire these pro’s though in your vid ;)
