I was waiting for it to show from a beach in my state and someone notified us it exploded. I was mad. But i cought the next one later in the years. It was amazing.

What’s funny are the people in the background. Like they’re close enough for the explosion to affect them. Haha NASA won’t have a civilian anywhere near the launchpad for this exact reason

Observers were actually affected. Not by the blast itself, but by the wind moving the toxic cloud at them. After that accident Wallops has expanded the "blast zone" where observers are not allowed.

The people in the background are hilarious. They’re four miles away from the pad. A 10 KT nuclear bomb wouldn’t have hurt them that far away.

I live little bit inland and got on the top of my hill to watch go through the air and then I felt the shake. So I waited and never saw it. Turned on the nasa channel and they were playing replays on TV
