I want my own Martin Freeman, a funny, sassy, and adorable man who just seems to keep getting more adorable too the older he gets. Amanda Abbington is a lucky woman.

The problem with accents is you never think you have one.

I know EXACTLY what he means when he says that he's not used to that kind of cold. I grew up in California and moved to Alaska. Frozen eyelashes are extremely annoying, but not nearly as annoying as being stuck on a bus for over 40 minutes in -40 degree weather.

This guy is probably my favorite actor at the moment haha. Well that's bit biased because im finally getting around to watch BBC Sherlock lately, finished 1 season, he was spectacular. Then I found out he was in Fargo, so I just started watching it and 6 hours later... I caught up lol. LOVE IT. And watching him do this interview, I like his personality as well.

Bob Stanvo ofc not. Martin Freeman in reference to him being in the Fargo... I thought this was pretty self explanatory. *smh*

I have lived in Minneapolis or rural ND my whole life. Minneapolis all of my adult life. The accent and speech patterns in the movie and tv series seem really overdone to me. We say "fuck" just as much as everyone else does. We don't substitute "heck" for normal swear words. On the other hand, we kinda sorta sound like that. When I've been watching Fargo for a bit, I do find myself cringing when I realize that I say "Yaaahhh!"
@Highfalutinloyd7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've lived in the Twin Cities most of my life, and I definitely elongate my "O"s, not very extreme, but when I lived out East, people definitely noticed it. I think you only get that real extreme accent in rural areas and more from the older generation. It seems like even in out-state Minnesota, the younger people don't have as extreme of an accent. Also, I agree, we swear just as much as anywhere else.

People may be polite, like Canadians, up in Northern Minnesota. But here near the Metro people are just as rude and snobbish as they are in any big US city.
