In fairness WCW did get better again once Russo left for good in October 2000 and remained entertaining up until the closure. Sadly the damage was already done by then, but the very last days of WCW are better than most people remember.

This the last time we can really say that there will be another "special" WCW show like it, as this is the penultimate Spring Break Nitro, with the final one (coincidentally) being the final Nitro itself. From here on out everything outside of the usual weekly programming will be the "final" for WCW. Final Spring Stampede, Final Slamboree, Final Great American Bash, Final Bash at the Beach, Final Fall Brawl, Final Halloween Havoc, Final Mayhem, Final Starrcade, & Final SuperBrawl, Final Spring Break Nitro, etc.

Holy chinlocks I’ve done it , I only found this Chanel when you dropped the Armageddon 99 ppv, I watched the two following reliving the war episodes and then decided to go all the way back to the start and watch the entire series, hoping I could catch up and here we are… my first reliving the war drop. From the dark days of 95 to the N.W.O , Glacier’s arrival 🤣 Austin 3:16 ( he’s an Animal … an animal AN ANIMAL !! ), Too legit to quit , the new hart foundation, crow sting in the rafters , D-X , the biker Michael likers , steve mu fuguin Blackman and everything in between. Me and my best friend watched this Raw and Nitro with our other friend (recorded nitro and watched it later) Got pizza hut regular cheese pizza her mom got for us and wild cherry Pepsi (her favorite) and Reese cups then played WCW Mayhem in her room with our friend (she was also a huge WCW fan) We stayed up till 3 am and got up and went to the local park and just listened to music Still friends with her to this day

I understand why people aren't the biggest fan of Wrestlemania 2000 but nostalgia is one hell of a drug. I was fortunate enough to have parents who were big fans of wrestling. They recorded on VHS a lot of WWF PPVs, hell they even have a VHS tape live recording of WCW bash at the beach! Unfortunately during the attitude era they didn't record anything except for WM 2000. Man I watched that on repeat so much. The vibe, the atmosphere, THE MUSIC!(which later became Teddy Longs entrance theme) I can never get enough of that wrestlemania. Can't wait for this Sunday!
