The story I heard about how he called up Randy Savage on Thanksgiving to thank him for all he had done and having randy say no one ever did that for him, speaks volumes about DDP and the type of person he is as he continues to help anyone he can. The moment DDP pulled that Diamond Cutter on Scott might be my first ever discreet wrestling memory. I was a kid at the time and like a lot of people back then I would end up switching over to WWF later down the line, but for most of 1997 I was a big DDP mark and this was the moment I remeber that made me into that. Really well done spot.
