Someone got caught doing some stupid shit in the weight room in high school. Our strength and conditioning coach caught him and we proceeded to go out to the field and do 1000 yards of beat crawls. Then our head coach afterwards brought out a rolling chair to the field with an umbrella and said we are going to tempo run around the field until he gets dizzy.

Man in college I never mind when we did the 300 yard shuttle test on the track because we got to run it in increments of 100 yards. It was just there, back and there. It was worse when we had to run the 300 shuttle timed in 25 yd increments. So essentially it was twelve 25 yd Sprints and we had to do it under like 2 and 1/2 - 3 minutes, something Crazy! And all of this had to be done after the weightlifting test. Bench press, squat, power clean etc.🎉

I only played high school level but i agree w these guys. The days i dreaded the most out of the year was the 4/5 times per summer when we had to run the 300 meter shuttle. We had to do 2 under the time. cant remember what it is but i think it was 55 secs and then 58 secs for the second time. And it was always after lifting. I could always get the first rep with like 1-2 secs to spare but that last 100 meters of the 2nd rep always fuckin killed my legs. Almost passed out once

I have never conditioned at that level but i ran long distance as a hybrid sprinter 400m 800m guy so i had to run 40 miles a week plus the actual relays an races. So when i got to football i was always in shape basketball winter season id just lift. But i remember seeing guys pass out get carried off on stretchers from heat stroke so i feel it. One of the reasons i didn't want to play in college conditioning. Just seeing guys throw up everywhere i almost passed out doing bleachers once those suck too.
