I've been watching beauty KZbin videos since I was 14 (turned 22 today). Usually I skip through them and even watch them without sound when I'm in the living room with my family, but when I see you uploaded a video I have to find myself a quiet spot because I love the way you talk (that sounds weird, but the cursing and funny things you say, just awesome). LONG-ASS COMMENT: i feel like there's a marketing miss going on with this product. in every review i've watched, the reviewer has commented about how thin the wheel is and how good it is at applying a precise, fine, STRAIGHT line. i honestly think this should have been marketed as a tool only for creating a wing ("wing wheel" or something like that, idfk, MARKETING ISN'T MY JOB OKAY). i buy that it could be used as "training wheels" for making a wing, but not for eyeliner in general. especially considering how little product seems to be in the mac roller wheel, i can really only see using it to draw a wing guideline. because the eye is curved, an applicator intended to draw a straight line isn't gonna be able to easily line the top of the eye, whereas a brush-tip or felt-tip eyeliner can bend and therefore hug the contour of the eye better. i feel like this should just be used to outline the wing triangle, and then those lines could be used as a guide to fill in with your preferred brush- or felt-tip eyeliner. the way it is now, you can't run the wheel along the curve of your eye; you have to go against the way the actual product works and dot/dab the wheel onto your lid since it can only draw a straight line. it maybe seems like adding an extra step, but if you're really bad at drawing wings, it could be helpful to have something that more easily applies liner in a straight line. i know i tend to angle the brush and draw a WAAAAY thicker line than i intend to, or i apply pressure on the brush at the wrong time and wind up with a way-too-fat tip on my wing. i've thought about getting this just to try to perfect wings, but honestly i don't have like $20 to spend on anything right now, especially a makeup experiment, lol.

This is how I do my wings. I have never ever been able to get that straight line. And a lot has to do with my hooded eyes. This gives me a precise line. And then I fill it in. I have never been able to rock a wing before this.
