Last year I jumped ship to Nama and never looked back. I am very satisfied with the Nama J2. Works great! Worth the price. Holds up to daily use. Huge upgrade from the Omega J8006. It produces juice with pulp in it, But I don't recommend paying extra for the optional namaJ2 pulp strainer. I typically pour juices through my own tea strainer, prior to consuming, in order to gather pulp, because the holes in the Nama strainer are too large to be useful. With celery juice, the less pulp the better! This fibrous non-digestible part of the plant provides no nutrients, and enters and exits your body unchanged. It is just a physical obstruction preventing all of the nutrients from being absorbed in your GI tract. I have not tried the copycat vertical batch juicer offerings from omega, hurom, sana, but I'm assuming they are inferior knockoffs of the Nama J2. I know the omega model has several design tweaks that make it not as good as the Nama. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The competitors recognized the superior Nama design, and decided they want a piece of the marketshare.

This video was so close to being perfect! You just needed to include the Kuvings Auto 10+ here, to make this the ultimste vertical slow juicer comparison!Excellent stuff nonetheless.
@discountjuicersАй бұрын
Thank you for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I can definitely see why including the Kuvings Auto 10+ would be appealing for a complete comparison. However, since the Auto 10+ is manufactured in a different factory, it has distinct design elements and construction that set it apart from the juicers featured here, which share a similar manufacturing background. Including it might have created a bit of an “apples to oranges” comparison. That said, I appreciate the suggestion, and a future video will focus on the Auto 10+ alongside one or all of these juicers.

@discountjuicersАй бұрын
The juicer that makes the MOST Juice and nutrients, is NOT a juicer at all! its a vacuum blender using it to Juice: Watch kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXqvdoGZg9WJhdk where I clearly show the differences in yield and color. J2 vs 727 vs Vacuum Juicing. The Green Star Elite DOES make more nutritious juice than the J2 for sure, but the J2 is easier to use.. and clean.

@discountjuicersАй бұрын
The 878 is a Juicer and can also make nut milk. The M1 is a nut milk maker and does make a thicker nut milk than the 878. However, the M1 is not designed to juice. So your best option may be the 878 to use it to make juice and nut milk. A thicker nut milk can be made in the 878 if you follow my instructions in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZ3ZnnWVrtaoabs which will make it much better than putting in water and whole nuts as most people show.

John, a question, totally off topic. I've had my Omega NC800 since 2017 and tho I was gifted a wonderful nama J2, two xmas's ago, I still use my Omega off/on. And, for some reason the juice tastes better(at times) with the NC800(I strain both juices as I juice). I do love the J2 for batch juicing, plus it pretty much juices everything. Do you have any thots on whether one of these 2 produces a more nutritional juice? I think the NC800 juices slower? Or maybe it's just my imagination?😆
@discountjuicersАй бұрын
You have good taste buds! Horizontal juicers typically have better "grinding" (due to longer run on the auger/screen) than vertical juicers, meaning it breaks open more cell walls and extracts more nutrition. I good example of this is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXqvdoGZg9WJhdk where you can clearly see a difference in yield and color of the juice. I hope that vertical juicers can improve their grinding end extraction to catch up to horizontals.
@secondyayaАй бұрын
@@discountjuicers Wow! I had no clue. I even told a friend the other day when I juice a glass from the NC800, drink it right then, I get a slight buzz, unlike my J2.😂. Amazing video John! A crash course in these three devices and fabulous info laid out wonderfully. I'm still sold out to vacuum juicing, but the carafe on my dynapro has cracked around the blade assembly a couple of times. So far not a game changer but I was taking a look at these nama juicers. While my carafe situation is being rectified I pulled out my Omega j 843 or whatever it is which makes it terrific juice, but just doesn't measure up to that vacuum juice product. I'm going to look into that vacuum juicer you mentioned that you've been using that closes the lid over the whole thing and does everything automatically. @discountjuicersАй бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I completely understand where you’re coming from. Nama has built a strong reputation and an enthusiastic community, and with so many positive reviews, it’s clear why people love their Nama juicers. They’ve done a fantastic job making quality juicing accessible and enjoyable. In this video, my aim was to provide a balanced view of all three machines, including some newer options that may not yet have as many reviews but still offer high-quality performance comparable to the Nama J2. For some people, especially those who are price-sensitive, there are other options that offer similar features at a lower price point. I’m committed to giving transparent information so viewers can make the best choice for their individual needs. I really appreciate your feedback, and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your Nama! It’s input like yours that keeps me motivated to keep bringing honest, in-depth reviews to the juicing community. Thank you!
@franciscobarbosa5931Ай бұрын
How can you say you have no aligence when the same company owns and makes the all the juicers your reviewing with same plastic and parts doesnt that mean if one isnt telling the truth about the stuff its made outta then they all are?
@discountjuicersАй бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to comment-I really appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. First, let’s talk about the factory and parts. Yes, the Sana, Hurom and Nama juicers are made in the same factory and use many of the same materials, which I openly share in the video. This transparency is part of my commitment to giving you the full picture. If any one of these companies were misleading about the materials or quality, it would reflect on all of them. That’s why I dive deep into what sets these machines apart, beyond just the shared components. My reviews focus on the differences-like design, usability, warranty, and customer service-so you can decide which is the best fit for your needs. As for commissions, let me be upfront: I do earn a small commission if you use my links. That’s how I fund my channel and continue to create detailed, honest reviews. But here’s the thing: my loyalty has always been to you, the viewer. I’ve been using juicers for 29 Years now and selling juicers for 25+ years, and I approach these machines as a user first, not just a reviewer. If a machine has flaws or drawbacks, I don’t shy away from pointing them out-whether I earn a commission or not. Being unbiased doesn’t mean being unpaid; it means being truthful and transparent, no matter what. For example, in this video, I highlight that the Nama J2 requires an extra purchase for the sorbet screen, while the Sana includes it. I also point out that Hurom’s warranty is shorter than the others and that their customer service could improve. I’m not favoring any brand-I’m giving you the facts so you can make the best choice for your needs. At the end of the day, my mission is to help you make an informed decision. Whether you buy a Sana, Hurom, Nama, or another brand entirely, the goal is to get you juicing and reaping the benefits. I hope this clears things up, and I truly appreciate your thoughtful comment! Keep them coming. 😊
