Thank you for asking. If you want a wired connection, I think the easiest way is by using the USB to 3.5mm adapter. Otherwise by using hdmi audio extractor. In addition, if you wish to connect it wirelessly, then the Bluetooth adapters are mentioned in the video. Connecting the speaker to your controller is also worth mentioning. Hope these helps.

Thanks for asking. Based on my experience, I cannot tell which one is the best but I can tell which one will be place as the last and second to the last. Last one will be the way with USB adapter. Since I fell it's difficult for it to put on maximum volume. And second to the last is the optical, since experts says that analog is obviously better than digital.

If you have the sound system which has 5.1 channel, you can simply connect the ps4 to its input. Either optical or Aux or rca. If it has Aux or RCA input then you need to use the converter/adapter. Or else you can use the HDMI pass through if your sound system supports it.

To be honest, there are more ways to connect speakers to your PS4. It will all just depend on the speaker ports available on your speaker. And use the cable according to it.

On the PS4 Slim, there is no audio port separately unlike the other 2 ps4 versions with optical. Your option will be through HDMI audio extractor adapter. Please check my other video for Xbox. You might wanna to do a little tweaking on your ps4 audio settings. Like for example on the inputs is set to usb. And the output is set to tv/amplifier. And on the sound and screen audio output should be hdmi only.

I connected my ps4 slim to my TV via hdmi and my TV to my 5.1 System with a Yamaha av receiver via optical. But my Problem is that if i go into the Sound settings on my ps4 slim i choose bitstream dolby as autoformat. The setting below where i can choose from 5.1 and 7.1 is unavailable and the sound is noticable delayed when I play with my 5.1 System. If i watch netflix on my TV it works perfectly but ps4 sound is still delayed. What can i do to fix this issue and is it because of the unavailable setting? Btw i can't use Hdmi ARC, because the sound quality is way better with optical. Thank you

Yes, but you will need an adapter TRRS to TRS for your in-ear headset since I believe most new in-ear headsets have TRRS connectors.

It should be automatic. Not sure why is that with you. Did you tried plugging in all connectors properly? Or check whether you connect the speaker to the headphone port of the soundcard and not on the mic port? I'm just thinking all the possible issues.

Can you check if the cable (aux/stereo 3.5mm) connector is TRRS? It should be TRS only.
