I can attest to everything in this video. If you’re parallel parenting with a narcissist, do your best to follow this list of do’s and don’ts. The narcissist will try to provoke you. Responding to provocation will only make things worse for you and the children.

So true!! He provoked me on yesterday and I reacted instead of ignoring him the way I usually do!! My son has never seen or heard us argue until yesterday and I feel so bad because I know better!! I learned a lesson to continue to ignore him because that’s best and I see he can’t stand it!!

I totally agree @ 10:54: my children are the ONLY good thing that came out of that horrible connection 😊😊😊

This is so completely true! I knew my ex husband didn’t love our two kids the same way I did when they were babies. It saddened me then and it still does. This video was spot on with his behavior and exactly what I needed to hear. I have always gotten emotional and fought back verbally. It always makes things worse. I need to set boundaries so my kids aren’t damaged more than they already are having him for a father. Thank you for this video.

I’m trying not to grey rock too hard before we go to court, I did tell him if he kept texting me about anything other than our daughter I’d file harassment charges. He originally stated he didn’t care but I noticed he stopped, and then immediately tried to call to talk about her. I declined and it’s been straight ever since. I pray the court is able to see the issues I present.

I think that you taking your own time to talk about these things, to try to help educate other, is a noble thing. I can only assume that you went through something similar to what you are talking about. CHEERS.

You can do something if the other parent is abusive. I think it’s my job to step up and protect my child . Because the law doesn’t

There is something to do gather evidence of drug use/dealing etc and incidents like kids finding a gun behind the lounge pillows, this is not safe, if they are not safe take steps to expose the perp and protect the children!

What would you say to the step parent being attacked by a her husband’s nark ex wife. I have stayed out of what I can of their co-parenting . But now she has told the courts that I beat my kids. They didn’t believe her but how do I put a stop to it without causing more trauma and turmoil for my kids and my stepdaughter?

I've decided to grey rock. But I have a question Do I tell my daughter to not tell him anything about how I'm doing? We are currently working through trauma she has from the relationship in therapy.

Why is it called Narcissist? I am working with Permissive parenting and Authoritative opposites . One has boundaries one doesn't ... I say no he undermines and says yes. Were still together why dont they make videos of couples with opposite parenting styles ??

Just get a court ordered restraining order. All this will be over with!!
