My ex always said he didn’t want drama he wanted peace. But he brought the exact opposite pretty much daily. It got to the point where each time we would get back together the moments of peace became less and less, the Hoover’s, devalues and discards became more and more frequent to where it would only take a week before the devalue and discard again. Patterns.

Same EXACT thing they say to me, it’s all bullcrap. Just ignore them and don’t engage and they will go bonkers!

I would say yes. They start hanging out with new people who are into drama and they become part of who they hang out with.

Mine always said he hated drama but he's in a toxic relationship that's full of DRAMA! I think he loves it and knew he wouldn't get it from me!

He was both overt and covert

My best friend was an overt. When is blocked him i found my girlfriend. I was so worried about getting into a relationship with another narcist. 1,5 year later i broke up with her this weekend. I didnt knew there was such a thing as a covert... i knew she had a lot of insecureties and she hated it to be in the wrong. But did not see this one comming at all but looking back i can see the toxicity.
