Can you do a video about Warren Zevon? I’d love to hear your take on his music, the influence he’s had on the music industry and why he’s being denied entry to the rock and roll hall of fame. Not that that’s a bad thing it’s kind of a joke anyway
@trueform23482 жыл бұрын
The record label did not disapprove of the title 'Suicide'. That's as made up as Serj having a classically trained voice. Daron confirmed it was their choice to change the title of the song to 'Chop-Suey' because the original title was just lazy and they didn't want to give the radio stations a reason not to play their new single.
@RAWMUSICTV2 жыл бұрын
@@trueform2348 Then Shavo and Daron have two very different versions of what happened with that title. Shavo has stated in numerous interviews, as recently as 2020, it was an issue with the record label. So if it's made up then it's made up by Shavo, I don't make things up, I take information from what an artist has said.

My grandmother watched her parents get slaughtered by the Turks when she was 4. Some lady took pity on her and saved her. She spoke to me in Armenian while I was growing up and I loved her very much. I’m the original drummer of AHC and the glue that kept IT together! I owe it all to Shavo as he helped get us recognized by Rick Rubin and American. Unfortunately you saw how it all worked out for us. System is one of the most talented bands to grace our ears and hearts! I remember talking with Serg John and Shavo when we played our first show with them in Iowa in 98 or 99. Beautiful people humble and such awesome musicians. I was blown away by them all! I understand creative differences as Chad and I were imitating Primus until I insisted we go heavy. System wer are so talented and lucky enough to do as amazingly as they did! What kills bands is ego money and direction. These guys have their differences but what they fail to remember is that they made it out of so many bands because they are brilliant. Put the shit aside and do a heavy record for Darren and a lighter record for Serg and put out a dual record calling it something like the forces within or something! SOAD is a such a breath of fresh air to this date that doesn’t age, at least to me! Do it for yourself your fans and your country as everyone is into the system!

I saw them open for Snot about two weeks before their first record came out. Loved them from that moment.

Bro… 72k subs is soooo much less than you deserve. This is the video that got my sub a while back and here I am again. There’s a lot of rock Doc channels but I’ve yet to find one as deep diving and informative while also being such a digestible time frame as yours. Please keep doing what you do! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
