Agreed on the point raised on formers. Lets say if 50% formers are redused to 20%, then wehre do you place 30% formers , how about their families and mostly they are under ssc dropped, graduates ( no job because no skillks)or illiterates. This podcast is a Pro Tax/Govt perspective. The simple fix to this problem is to remove the Income Tax and slightly increase Indirect tax. People will be happy to pay more indirect tax when the net amount is higher. The biggest issue is govt doesn't give anything in return to this 3-4% income tax payers. When you have more savings, there will be more expenditure.

Only gaap i see is on farmers topic..More farmers producing surplus crops leading us to have more supply and inturn making less prices and can feed everyone in the country. My point is food/shelter/clothing are essential for human survival. Eveything can not be seen from economics angle. Shelter was already curbed by real estate black economy and NRI invetsemnets where it went out of reach to common man.

Why you guys didn’t discuss on rates that farmers are getting. If they get correct rates for their yield agriculture will add more revenue. You guys don’t know that. First of all do you guys know who was becoming rich on base of agriculture? Let’s take you so called branded cotton clothes what you’re paying for cotton shirt and what farmers getting for raw material? Or take tomatoes you guys will pay 140/150 rupees but farmers are getting only 20/30 rupees. If governments encourage exports farmers will make wonders. Yes technology and education will make people rich. But if you’re not encouraging agriculture there won’t be any people in future who do agriculture. Soon you will see Kalki kind of world😂. Before discussing on how economy plays and who will add value to economy. Smart work and hard work please tell how farmers have to do it teach them. Sitting under AC and having conversations with smile is easy. Hey vamsi big fan of your work when you’re doing this kind of podcasts if can bring another person who will ask on contradicting questions to guy who was giving so called lecture for almost 1:30 hours.

I do agree with you... My father is a farmer and I know the reality in the agriculture sector which I am seeing from my childhood You point is absolutely right, ground realities are far different then what we are seeing on paper I will give an example of how the government actions effecting farmers before elections the central government imposed some restrictions on agri exports because of that mirch prices fall like anything. 6 months before elections then there are no restrictions on agri exports one type of mirchi sold for 40k - 50k per quintal but now the same asking for 10k - 15k If there are no regulations for the prices then how can farmers also become rich. we see all the minimum Supporting prices on paper but the group really is different
