Raxiom Smoked Vector Tail Lights (05-09 All) Install, Review, and Unboxing

This is my unboxing, Installation, and review video on the new Raxiom Vector Tail lights on my 2008 Mustang GT

2008 GT500 Shelby - Shadow Edition SVT Thank You! I just received my Raxiom Smoked Tail Lights. Your instructions helped immensely. My install was a bit more than 15 minutes. Small fingers can make this much easier. My brake lights are sequential, they sequence once, then all 3 stay lit. I agree - For $450, the reverse lights should have been included. I would suggest when tightening the 11mm nuts, don't over do it. hand tighten, then just a 1/4 to 1/2 turn on the wrench. Too tight, it will probably pop the plastic. Thank You, 'Peck' USMC

I accidentally tightened mine to tight and cracked the bolt lol should've mentioned that! It's totally fine if you do. So far, nothing has happened yet or rattling.

Thank you for this review. I totally agree with you about the reverse bulbs. I really would like to buy this for my car but the price and the bulb put me off a little. They do look so sweet though. Also side note, I was looking at those palm trees in the reflection of your car. Must be so nice to live in a place like that! I'm kinda jealous! ;-)

I would say go for it. I love these tail lights so much! I would go check out the brand new ones American Muscle just released with the Red diffusers, instead of white. I wish I could have those but American Muscle wouldn't let me exchange the ones I have right now. And that is San Diego for you! lol

The running lights are flickering in the video because they're probably being dimmed via Pulse Width Modulation. Then when they're at full power (no PWM) the camera picks them up normally.

I recommend them! They are definitely the best tail lights for 05-09 mustangs, next to the Cervini tail lights, but those are like $600 lol

They reflect on coming light, like most bicycles have. They do not light up.

Yeah one of the first pairs that they sent me was not sequential. They took them off the sight for 2 weeks and then they put them back up. Ever since then there hasn't been any complaints, so far.

Unfortunately the Raxiom Vector taillights for the 2005-2009 Mustang have been discontinued. They are no longer available on the American Muscle website :(

reverse really easy. turn car off but leave it in the start position put car in reverse with parking brake applied. Why turn the car on for the brake lights leave it off and put the brick on the peddle lol

Imo, Coplus make junk led tails.... I had a pair on my 16 F150, after 1 day I had heavy condensation in both. Sent the back for a Refund, 2 weeks later Coplus sent me a email asking if Id except a restructured new Free pair, to try out. I said yes, and when the new pair arrived, the d.s. tailight Brake/Turn light middle male pin had a bent middle connector. It wont function, p.s. works fine. So as of now, the free pair are sitting the the box, while I have my oems back on my truck. Buyer Beware...
