@@MATTIUS i have the polaris system map... there is a gas giant with 8 moons.. it orbits the second star in the system. the second star looks like the star in the background on the picture of the dark wheel station in the codex.... i have been after the polaris permit for over a year..

I think there's a way to get the Polaris permit. It's just purposely hard to do. The codex has clues.

Nice wrap up of some theories I've been thinking about, too. However I believe the unobtainable permit locks are yet a placeholder for future content. Since it is kinda indicated by entries in the Codex knowledge base that Raxxla and TDW station already are in the game it wouldn't fit FDev's style to place them behind unobtainable permit locks. I'm rather thinking they probably use the incredible huge haystack of asteroid( cluster)s in game to hide these two needles. Have you ever noticed that sol's asteroid belt seems to be the only one in game that has no asteroid clusters you can plot a course to via the navigation panel? What better way to hide the biggest easter egg of video game history just on or in orbit of 19 fortuna?

Interesting points niemand. Funny you should mention the asteroid belt as it was the possible site for a larger planet than Ceres that had broken up eons ago. Soontil as we see was attacked with a weapon that broke up the crust and created massive seismic events. There could be something in the asteroid belt that at least, starts you on the path to raxxla.

Awesome video. I hope you keep making more videos on this subject. My son and I have been following up on the connections of raxxla and the dark wheel. We went to tau ceti and unlocked the van mannen system to see if there was a connection there. Other than a pirate base literally in the middle of nowhere we couldn’t find anything. We were about to attempt to find the Polaris system permit mission but I’ve recently learned it’s not in the game?

great video tying together a lot of good bits - a lot of stuff I overlooked in this as well including the connection to Sirius... I find it interesting that you have the Turners, the Jamesons, etc still in the game, but engineers were added later, and if "it's been there since the beginning" Sirius Corp sounds like a solid place to investigate....

I don't know, I've saw something weird in the Formidine Rift once, a contact that I couldn't scan, it said scan required then just said "unknown" it jumped away before I could get a good look at it... I don't know, probably just another ship, I've just never had a contact that said "unlnown" before. Still think about it now.

@@CMDRShadow I do actually, right on the edge of the Trafeau and Dryooe sectors, it was quite a way out, I saw something on contacts it said scan required, but when I tried to target it it said unknown, it jumped away before I could get near it or get a look at it. Probably just another pilot, but I've never had an unknown contact before. I just wish I could remember which system exactly.

Oisir raxxla is a race from the illustrated book, "alien worlds : an illustrated guide" by Steven eisler ( a pen name for Robert holdstock, who wrote the dark wheel novel).Honestly, I get the accent thing, I can bearly understand myself most times haha. @@wisn6327 personally I dont think raxxla is one object. I think that polaris is part of the raxxla trail, possibly an ancient base or a gateway to andromeda.

Its mainly from my early days playing the game. In certain forums i would ask some of the questions that are in my videos and sometimes get a... "There is no raxxla, There are no mysteries in the game, The galaxy does not contain these kind of pseudo scientific/spiritual themes that people like you want." Some people actively attack players for enjoying content that they do not enjoy...
