Yup, I totally understand why he left. They were all getting old, and Ray knew that their window was closing. Unfortunately for the Celtics, KG's injury In 09 is what squandered the possibility of a 3 peat. There's a good chance that Celtics team would have won 4 championships had Garnett not gotten hurt. But once Miami got LeBron, it was pretty much game over.

The Celtics organization disrespected Ray Allen pretty much his entire tenure there after they won. They tried to trade him three times. @PGO_Gaming6 жыл бұрын
Elan Smith Avery friggin Bradley was and still is an elite defensive guard that set the tone with his defense. Ray still got minutes, just not as much.Rondo was also constantly in trade talks and he never complained. How Ray Allen comes off in the media has no bearing as to whether he is a classy individual or not. Fact remains, he left a team in Boston, to play for a Miami team they had fought and scrapped against for much less money. And he left without even telling anyone. It's a snake move.

It was mainly due to that the celtics offered him less then what he was expected to get from boston and didn't really want him going forward if you remember avery bradley was taking that spot from Ray. It pains me to say this, but I couldn't agree more. They were a good team, but they were not the 80s Lakers or Celtics, not the 90s Bulls, not for 2000's Spurs. They didn't change the game in some way. They won a championship, came close another time and one of their star players moved on. The end!! Who cares about the rest of it.

Dennis Rodman, John Salley and James Edwards all eventually went to Bulls[The enemy] Robert Parish ended up with the Bulls and won a Championship with Jordan. Free Agency happens. Move on KG. 🏀

I don’t think Ray Allen should apologise for shit. He was near the end of his career anyways. People act like it was Ray Allen of the bucks leaving the celtics

They salty because Ray got more rings and he helped save Lebron legacy.
@DamnMixes6 жыл бұрын
for people like you who watches nba for the highlights it sure looks like ray saved brons legacy with one clutch shot, that's like saying robert horry saving lakers and spurs asses with clutch shots. At the end of the day its superstars winning rings for these role players, not vice versa.
