I’m partial to Randolph because: Made in America is awesome. Small privately owned company versus gigantic Luxottica brand. The smaller lenses seem to look better on face as I find most aviators to look oversized.

Richard Q Not at all, because the logo is more subtle than the Ray Ban one, and it represents MiUSA unlike RB. The RB logo is too in-your-face, and tons of people are sporting it which makes it less special.

@@richardq1890 Thanks, my wife agrees, lol... No, seriously look at the first part of the video where he holds them both up side-by-side and you'll see the Ray-Ban logo pops out way more. Personally I try to avoid anything with a huge logo on it. Sure, you can scrape it off, but that's not something I want to do.

I tried both Ray-Ban and Randolph’s are definitely better and totally worth the investment!! Flimsy Ray-Ban seems like they where one use away from breaking! Randolph is the superior value for your dollar. Glass lenses, 23k gold, and made in the USA!

Actually, Polarized Ray Bans have anti reflective material as well. I personally have a pair and they really do actually reflect light in the specific bluish haze. So, yeah, price wise, they very similar

The thing is the Randolph are nicer no doubt…but there is something iconic about the painted on rayban logo and more Comfy about the lighter raybans and nose guards

The front looks basically the same between the two. I think the arms are a little too thin on the Ray Bans though.

Ray-Ban died when they got bought out by Luxottica. Good old Bausch & Lomb knew how to do it right, made in the USA.

I had a pair of the large Ray Ban aviators (62mm) that were stolen from my car the other day so I'm looking for some replacements. The standard size Ray Ban aviators are definitely too small for my head. I'm torn between the Randolph Aviators with the cobalt lenses, I really like the look of them, and the Concordes. If it was just based on looks I'd get the Aviators, but I'm worried about the size. I know the bridge is a little wider on the Randolphs than on the Ray Bans. I'm sure the 61mm Concordes would work for me, but do you think the 58mm aviators would work?

Hi,I'm curious on what you purchased. I have a pair of Randolph Aviator's 58mm polarized.they are definitely built real well and the lenses are top notch.ive had Varnet,Bolle,Sun Cloud,Ray Ban,Maui Jim. Really digging these Randolph's and there made in Massachusetts,I'm in Connecticut so it's real nice supporting made in the USA and a New England company. Keep up the great work Randolph !! SKY Shade I know. But I think that if you want to inform correctly you shouldn’t say that ray ban don’t have antiriflective material, but that if you want to buy rb with antiriflective lenses you’ll have to necessarily buy polarized lenses.

i bought Randolph but i was disappointed because the lenses are not really tinted and therefore it cannot block the sun very well .. i have Ray ban wayfarer which offer good tint much more Randolph

Looks like you got a CAT 2 lens which is good for over cast days for being sunny days you want a CAT 3 lens

You can call them and ask them which ones are CAT 3 but also I know the classic AGX lenses are and so are the American Gray and Cobalt lenses

I have both and the RE aren’t droopy and they are much better sunglasses. He needs to adjust the nose piece on the RE in this video. He has them sitting too low.

I have RE Aviators 58 mm I like the look of...and Maui Jim Mavericks which seem narrow on my face but everybody tells me the 61mm Concordes would be huge and the 57mm look good on you I'm so confused

People like to pick on the “thin delicate temples” but, while probably cheap, the thinner the better to fit under a headset without breaking the seal. You know “aviators” used for actual aviation Cheers

The teardrop shape frame of RayBay has a tiny tiny curve upwards on the top edge, while the Randolph Concorde is absolutely flat on the top edge. Does anybody see this minor difference?
