So just to clarify a few things. Large is the regular size and X Large is the Large size. For some reason on Meta website at launch. That was the name they had on the two sizes.

Great review! Tried both at the store and the larger one was more comfortable but I wasn’t sure which as I should get as I only had them on for a few seconds each. Thanks for explaining the size differences now I’m sure I’ll go with the larger ones.

I agree it is a pain to get out of the case…I pull them out near the eye glass upper frame area…I was pulling them out by the arms…not good…might loosen then up over time.. Good review..

Ironically, I was in LensCrafters in Boca Raton earlier today and they had a huge display right in the front for these new frames. I tried them on and they felt comfortable. That had a demo model and you could listen to music and adjust the volume on the arm of the frame. Really cool! I'm thinking about getting them because they're not really that much more money than many other frames. Good review as usual

Ahh, my LensCrafters hasn't received the demo unit yet. I wanted to try them on, but when I went on the website they only had one size. Hopefully they'll fit!

Honestly, I liked the way the Standard (Large) look on my face better. But I like the way the XXL felt better. Large was pretty tight on the temples

THANK YOU for doing this size video! I agree that more sizes are needed. Personally I could use a smaller size. I currently have the "large" glasses with transition lenses and they are so thick and large that they almost look clownish on my face. A smaller version would look much better on me. They look ok as sunglasses but as regular glasses it's apparent that they are too large. So I'll be returning mine. Otherwise I love all of the features (except you can't do landscape pictures and the video length is limited to 60 seconds).

I got the XXL size in mine, but they rest on my cheeks a little bit. Seems like even the regular L size does though. I may just have high cheekbones or something. Not bothering me too much but I don’t know how to fix it.

Regarding privacy, absolutely agree with you....we live in an age where everyone has a camera on their smart phone anyway and you can't really tell if you are being "filmed" anyway...A person who wanted to film you could do it discretely so that you wouldn't know it. IMO those people who are sooooo concerned about their privacy either have an OVER INFLATED sense of their self worth or they are guilty of some crime. LOL. And for those reviewers who feel the need to amplify and validate those ridiculous concerns. Stop it...Please just STOP IT.

I tried on both sizes today. The large has to slightly pull on the arms when putting on the ears (I mean very very slightly). The XL was much better and comfortable to out on, but it would slip down my nose a bit and was already needing to keep adjusting it up. Sooooo... Looks like the Large it is. Too bad they couldn't figure out a way to allow for regular adjustment of the arms like other glasses. I understand why they can't, but in the future, who knows!

Great day nice video. I grabbed a pair this weekend. Only issue I'm seeing is with calling. It defaults to the mic on the bride of the nose which gets covered by your nose and causes people not to hear you or sound muffled. Have you ran into that? Other than that mics work great with normal video recording and social recording so very strangle that issue happens.

I saw that, and I think Amazon has the title wrong because I looked at the SKU number, and the standard matches the Ray-Ban website for the large size. The same goes for the XXL. Hopefully, Amazon will fix this error.

It was confusing when they were first released, as originally, the two size options were Large and XX-Large, as shown in the video screenshots. Now, apparently, they changed it to standard and Large. It’s still the same size as shown in the video.

Does altering the size make recording people in public without their permission less of an issue? Less Glasshole-y? I mean sure, designer frames. But still super-creepy. And potentially bringing you up in court or punched in the face.

If you’re in public there’s no expectation of privacy, anyone can record you and don’t need your permission. If you’re in private on your own property you can record anything anytime or make rules about recording on your property. On someone else’s private property, in a private meeting or somewhere people expect privacy, you need permission to record them. Most places someone will wear these are out in public. If it’s indoors or lower light the recording light is obvious if they’re recording and it flashes when taking pictures or video. Every minute they have to fidget with the button or ask Meta to record video so it’s not extremely covert. If you want covert there are options you wouldn’t even believe are real. Think water bottles, pens, lapel, glasses with no obvious camera at all that records continuously in HD. You’re living in a dream world if you think this a scary covert camera. This will be ubiquitous in 5 years and all glasses will have 5 microphones and AI cameras. The cameras the Santa Cruz Police Dept have can see through your walls as they drive down the street. It’s an infrared camera that spins on the top of the cars in the early 2000’s.

Don't get the XXL unless your head is kinda small. Ironically, you should get the regular size if you have a big head because it will make your face look slimmer.
