I was so lucky to be in right place at right time. 1966 I was teaching for DOD in Germany & Mr. Charles performed a show in Frankfurt and I went to see him. Back then my fav song was "Hit the Road Jack". I'm now 83 & still love his songs & piano playing & his incredible voice! I've shared his videos with my g-kids so they could enjoy hi m too. And I point out to them how he was always SMILING! Bet he's still smiling in heaven!❤
