No way! I just checked and Ray is 69 that means in this video he was 27!! The age I am now! I hope if I'm still on planet earth in 42 years I'm still open air preaching like Ray so many men started as street preachers but have left it behind to preach indoors, I respect Ray for his perseverance!!

Actually, it has changed. If you listen to his sermons, "Hell's Best Kept Secret" and "True And False Conversion" (I don't remember exactly which one) you will hear his account of how he used to preach a lop-sided gospel. One that emphasized "accepting Jesus", "really meaning it", "asking Him into your heart", with no mention of the Holy Law of God, nor repentance. Those sermons are definitely worth the watch!

I don't think street preaching is a good idea. Because people tend to ignore you. So the best way is to approach one person at a time.
@JesusistheLambofGod6 жыл бұрын
Street Preaching is not about good ideas. It is the biblical method. It gets the most persecution too. I never went to a police station for hugging someone for Jesus, giving waters for Jesus or talking one one one for Jesus. It was open air preaching that got me in jail and cop cars. Obedience is what matters. If God calls you to street preach, then you better do it. God asked me to when I was raising a boy alone and running a business. I did not volunteer for that lifestyle. It was a calling and it is all through the bible. Street preachers that are boring and you cant hear them get ignored. It is up to the preacher to become interesting and learn the art of drawing crowds. If you get ignored, you may not be called. It is that simple. God would not call a preacher knowing he or she would be ignored. That doesnt make sense. God wants preachers heard.
@Rubysay2336 жыл бұрын
Angela Cummings well not entirely true, you may seem ignored at the surface but the seeds have been planted. 1 Corinthians 3:6 I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.

Thank you Ray! I got radically born again at age 45 when no one had shared the gospel with me. But then I knew I needed to tell others, and through the Transformed conferences and Ray's training and Living Waters' tracts, I do it all the time. Doing this brings me the most joy because JOY is JESUS, others, yourself. True conversions result in testimonies and a desire to talk about Jesus all the time. I do videos too explaining my gospel conversations to help my viewers so see how easy it is. I am a woman, so I don't do open air, but God will give you opportunities to do one-on-one if you ask. God had the slogan first- JUST DO IT. Think about heaven, and if only 1% of those Ray has preached to or any of us are there with us for eternity, isn't that a beautiful thing? We don't want even our worst enemy to go to hell. Thanks Living Waters for all the encouragement. Blessings.

Thanks for all you do Ray. A few friends and myself started a street evangelism ministry. We were faithful in it. However until we discovered your videos and website we were just ineffective. We would engage people using Christianese such as "you must be saved". Although that is true a lot would respond by saying "Saved from what"? We now know we had the cart before the horse. Now by using the Law to demonstrate the need of the Savior we have been able to get to the gospel with most people, even hardened atheists, because we bypass the mind and appeal to the God-given conscience. Our ministry is now flourishing. We have gotten permission from a couple of malls to have an area to witness and give out tracts. We also hit the streets of Philadelphia, PA. You have been an inspiration to us and have helped to equip us. Praise Jesus!

Much prayer will keep a Christian steadfast. If you spend at least an hour a day (and that's just average,) you will remain firm in Christ. You can split it to half an hour during day and half an hour in the evening/night. It is the ONLY way a person can grow in Christ AND remain steadfast. If you discipline (disciple) yourself to do this, soon you become addicted to prayer and you look forward to it. Even if I don't feel like it, I make myself do it and lo! very soon I am "in the swim" with Jesus and praying with gladness. I sometimes spend 2 or 3 hours a day in prayer. Soon you will be led by His Spirit and know what to pray for. I am saying all this to help you. I never had the internet in my early years as a Christian and I never had a TV, so I spent a lot of time reading the Bible and praying. Some years later I was called into the Ministry. But I can see how the internet has replaced "Personal Time" with Jesus. Just being in a room alone with God - no other distractions. Also of course, reading and studying the Bible a lot. When I was a younger person (been a Christian about 43 years now) every one I knew, knew the Scriptures and spent at least an hour a day in prayer, except the sluggards who soon fell away from the Lord. It is EASY to live for God HARD, and HARD to live for God EASY. "My soul follows hard after thee." the Psalmist David said to the Lord. I sincerely hope this helps my friend. Please take it on board. Your life will change.

@Yahawah is God : I think No. 007 still has a point, if aborted babies go to heaven, they not only avoid a lifetime's worth of pain, misery or other bad things, but most importantly, they do not get to make mistakes that could otherwise earn them hell. Not appreciating heaven as much as someone who did experience pain may make it less enjoyable, but it's still infinitely more enjoyable than an eternity of suffering in hell, wouldn't you think so?
@nicolasandre98866 жыл бұрын
@@AnoAssassin : that would do _me_ a disservice by sending me to hell, but not to the victim, so the point still stands. Avoiding someone even the chance to go to hell would seem like a good thing. Don't worry, I'm not even remotely considering shooting anyone to avoid him to go to hell, I'm just trying to follow the christian heaven/hell logic.

@@nicolasandre9886 Sigh, I swear this is the reason that God decided not to talk much about infant death in the Bible, because people would start killing kids for their benefit. Sure, a baby dead is a baby in Heaven. That's not what God planned though. It isn't God's will that babies are killed by human action. And like Jesus said before being captured for execution, "Let not my will be done, but Yours." We must not do what we want, but what God wants. Biblically you'd doing something detestable and against God's will in abortion, so don't try to loophole it into some morally acceptable act
@nicolasandre98866 жыл бұрын
@@AnoAssassin : there still is talk of infant death in the bible, I mean there probably were a lot of children and pregnant women on Earth at the time the flood happened. But as you said, it is not god's plan to have babies killed by humans (unless his chosen people wage war against infidels I suppose), but he can do it himself, in this case it cannot be evil.
