I too am excited, but this game does not look beautiful on PS5.....hopefully they can smooth that out, or the Series X can handle it better. But personally i dnt think its looks as good as world on console. Maybe time for me to buy PC.

Performance mode looks like 720p low settings and is not even 60fps in the hub or in battles. Resolution mode seems to be the better option. Let´s see what PS5 Pro and PC can do

I really like that the health bar goes crazy mode when low, so it catches your eye, but at the same time does not feel too intrusive.

@@deltauniqx2237 Fr and even when you're about to miss you can sheathe in mid-air and not miss and not lower your spirit level in vain. So it's like almost 100% accuracy, guess it's 99% accuracy due to foreseeable human error, but that's still leagues better than what it used to be.

Wilds LS looks amazing, only issue I feel is the new hit sounds for the weapons and I dont notice any hit stun. It just doesnt feel as weighty compared to previous generations.

Feels a bit more like Rise I guess, but not as beefy as in World. Somwhere in between maybe. I'm ok with it because I don't think the LS should be a heavy beefy feeling weapon but it shouldn't be a fast paced slashy slashy weapon either, even tho it feels like it at times. It should be THE medium melee weapon.

I will admit that it was a little not necessarily slower but more rigid (understandable because the game ain't even released yet so obviously they're going to have to do some touch ups, which is literally the whole point of this beta test) than worlds longsword.

Something I hope they improve is how often monsters run away; anyway, I am happy at how good LS combat feels, and these are only the base moves, and without Quicksheath. I can't wait to see what other moves we’ll unlock.

I love the more flowy moveset in red gauge it makes the Hunter feel like they’re actually swinging the sword with technique instead of a weighted stick

@@yuyi116 Yes that's what hit feedback/hitstop means. Turn off the dmg numbers right now and you can barely even tell you are hitting the monster. Why do people suddenly act like you don't need it just because it's the big new MH game. Just imagine you are playing hammer and all your hits just go threw the monster like you are missing.

Waayyy more satisfying. The motion is way more fluid in Wilds, but the hit feels nothing. If you turn off the damage number, you will feel you miss hit on all of the attacks. Also the camera moves a lot more than in World.

It depends on how powerful the hit is imo. With Lance, the lower mv attacks felt like they did nothing, but the big hits felt BIG. Every time I used a focus strike it knocked the monster on its ass, and attacks like the wide sweep and counter feel powerful. I’ll have to try more weapons today to investigate further.

i definitely see where youre coming from but, one this is long sword. not exactly a heavy weapon. and secondly the body is actually reacting to every strike. basically jiggle physics on a tiny scale. difficult to see but it is there.
