What Lloyd forgot to mention is that Monknash is very popular with naturists in the summer, where different types of rod n tackle can be on display. Beautiful beach and like Ogmore a little further down the coast, your usually more likely to catch than not.

Me and my mate fished Monknash last year we had a red letter day I lost count of how many rays we caught was a 3hr drive for us we stayed a couple of days and fished friars too . We had 5 blondes between us and a fair few spotted and loads of Smalleyed rays . In the end I was catching so many Smalleyeds around 5 to 6 pound I cast out half of mackerel to keep the little one at bay and caught a 10.5lb smalleyed which was a PB for me and it was all in the day
@BanditFishingUK2 жыл бұрын
It can certainly be one of those beaches. And you don’t know what will turn up. Last year had a session with friends and we had. Hounds bass, 3 types of rays. It was fantastic

Really strong rods mate, ideal for fishing around here they do lack a little in the tip for bite detection on smaller fish light whiting when you’re fishing at range but that’s the only down side to them.

What cool box u using and what do u think of it enjoying videos thanks

Not sure what you’ve done to the sound on this video but it only comes out of one headphone / speaker (right) same when played on iPad, checked other videos it’s something in this ones sound profile. Edit; it’s just your voice audio the audio from the cameras seems to work, it’s a very strange listen 😂

Thanks for pointing this out. When I edited the video it wasn’t apparent or perhaps I was oblivious to it. We use a wireless microphone set up that can connect to 2 mics so perhaps in the settings it was set up as a duel and subsequently played from one mic. I Will keep an eye out for it happening in the future. Thanks for watching
