For a very long time I have been trying to contextualize my beliefs toward God and religion. I decided that Christianity was too flawed to be true and I couldn't bring myself to accept the dogma of Islam. Ray Hagins has finally given a voice to much of what I believe and I am thankful for it. The only danger here, however, is that we effect the same point of view towards our oppressors as they effected towards us. If we truly are God's chosen then we must understand that our race and culture are not superior to anyone. We are unique, absolutely. But we are all gods and goddesses. Black people don't ONLY come from Africa, that a bizarre thing to say. Black folk started all over the globe. I don't understand the obsession with Africa. We've been indoctrinated to think that. I hope brother does some research from where his true "blackness" comes from

The way I see it, the bible/torah/quran is a conquerer's contract that gives him religious rights to conquer, colonise, enslave, occupy land of Africans and seize control of all the wealth and when we accept it as a word of God, we also accept the right of the enslaver to enslave us, the right of a conquerer to conquer us, the right of coloniser to colonise us and occupy our land. Its like a prey accepting the right of a predator to prey on him. Maybe that's why they refuse to pay reparations because we, Africans, home and abroad have accepted their rights to exploit us. We are in deep trouble and we are not even aware.
