Kaep was an average QB, at best, when he made his choice to be a political advocate, so it made it easy for all NFL owners, coaches, and GMs to want nothing to do with him. So teams "figuring out Kaep" was the MAIN reason he isn't playing, followed by his infamous political choices. Thats the Matt Patricia curse. For 7 consecutive years he has trashed every team he has be a part of Patricia bin laden is a football terrorist, not even Urban Meyer's players popped off on him the way Patricia's former players have, with Slay being one of the most vocal during their overlap in Detroit. The problem it's even the same problems. He didn't learn from his mistakes with the Lions. He went to a playoff caliber team (Pats)and said, "Screw all of you end everything you do, we're doing it my way." He doesn't fit his scheme to the players, he forces the players to fit into his "Cunning Ultimate Masterplan". He turned a capable 4-3 into a crap 3-4 with a scheme designed to funnel runners directly into the slow as big as as a truck MLB Tavai. Screw the pass rush and leave the DBs on an island. He changed everything not because he thought it was better, but because he only runs things his way. An absolute failure to even run what he's trying to focus on and everything else, like "passrush and pass coverage" just get left on the table. He asks players to just "adapt" to the holes in his scheme and calls them all stupid for not keeping up with the defensive genius How people even consider him a servicable option at this point is beyond me. But hey the Eagles had 7 years of failure, player testimonials, owner testimonials, and history to reference and still opted to hire Patricia bin Laden. They made their bed, time to enjoy laying in it.

Yall killed Brady when he said the product is not good but Ray Lewis is pretty much saying the same thing from a defensive perspective. The Eagles secondary was always suspect but they looked like they didn't want to play. We had 6 dropped balls including a Mike Evans bomb td.
@iansammons2730 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, sad that like 3-4 of the best moments for Eagles fans this game was when Buccs receivers dropped easily catchable bombs that were likely touchdowns/first and goals after completely smoking their defender. Pathetic.

The Eagles are a bottom 3 defense, they’re not some good defensive team. If this would happen to the Chiefs, 49ers or Ravens, then it would be valid.

Exactly. All these missed tackled in the nfl today are done on purpose. Rigged for shee

@@alexha2884 no not tackles but all of sudden OC/DC gone THEY did the same thing when they had the last super team remember Chip Kelly came in and broke that super power up

That touchdown reminds me of Browns tacklers (Newsome) taking bad angles on purpose so they don’t get hurt.

Nobody will ever convince me that constantly reducing the amount of contact practices over the years was in any way good for the sport.

It happens every week on every team. There's no way that out of 8 billion people, the best of the best are in the league. It's the same reason we see so much nepotism running wild. What are the odds that ONE set of brothers are playing in the league at the same time, let alone 7 or 8 sets....most at the same position. They used to tell kids that the odds of going pro are so long that you shouldn't bank on it, but these kids who don't even understand geometry are getting in the league. Something is WRONG.

Most NFL players can't even tackle. They just launch themself at the other guy and pray they knock them over.
@puppethound Жыл бұрын
I say this every time I watch someone make a stupid/bad play. "At what point, in your entire football existence, did you learn to do what you just did?" and if I was their coach, I would expect an answer. I want to hear it come out of your mouth, so you know, for real, that may have cost your team the game. Even a rookie in the NFL has most likely played football over half his life, so there is zero excuses.

Reminded me of the Cowboys. Without AJ, with an unreliable QB, losses to the Cardinals and Giants....I think these guys just felt ready to go home. It's a long season, when you get kicked in the teeth at this point by a hungry opponent some people just give up.
@iansammons2730 Жыл бұрын
Yeah... and we lost AJ basically because our coaches are dumb as hell and sent starters onto the worst field in the world for a meaningless game... and got us what... 6-8 starters injured getting our asses beat by the third? worst team in the NFL this year.
@maxsteigauf8179 Жыл бұрын
I think part of it is they don't practice tackling as much as they used to... you don't see a lot of good wrap ups or angles like Ray said.

Having Ray Lewis accessible to the Ravens franchise is such an advantage. Imagine Roquan and PQ getting critiqued by Ray.. and Marcus and Kyle getting critiqued by Ed.. It’s a blessing fasho

How and why are so many NFL defensive players are so bad at tackling? It’s LITERALLY in the definition of Defense…
@yakubamansaray4676 Жыл бұрын
Even if the athletes are better, if the fundamentals are worse, or non-existent, the product ultimately suffers.

I've been watching the NFL for 25 years....and one thing I can say with certainty is the tackling has gotten worse.
