@@shanustheanus They joked about voicing in SpongeBob like some sort of enforcer beating up SpongeBob. The segment here was originally aired at 2003. Roughly 6 years later, Ray became an actual guest voice actor in the episode "What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?", as a leader of a gang who were about to beat up SpongeBob.

The fact that he wasn't even a gamer but agreed to do Vice City makes me like him even more. Most non-gamer actors would've looked down on the idea of doing a video game in those days. @@dreamawake2670 well Ray Liotta isn’t the only person where there were some massive disputes. Hell in the same game, Burt Reynolds also had a massive spat with the Houser’s. I just feel taking music and movies star, which are both very different entertainment mediums in their own right and then putting them into a video game, also a very different medium from the other two, just makes for bad business putting them together. All three have different ways of negotiating business and payment is also a huge difference between the three.

@@Humma_Kavula Not to mention Young Maylay who voiced CJ. Shawn Fonteno the voice actor for Franklin in GTA 5 is cousins of young Maylay and said they ended on a bad note. But it appears Rockstar did a better job in GTA 5 considering all the voice actors are probably the first to actually end their contract with Rockstar on a good note. Hopefully Rockstar has learned their lesson otherwise actors will probably turn their gigs down. GTA is so popular now and the highest grossing media of all time, there is no way they can hide their compensation and revenue now.

Ray’s an icon. Every summer as a kid, my ‘ol man ran a bus trip to Yankee Stadium, generally with the same crowd of rowdy Italian-Americans, and the bus had TVS. So, Goodfellas became a yearly staple (first on VHS, then DVD) on the bus and a crowd favorite. It was usually when the adults were just getting good and drunk and just before arriving to the stadium. They always loved the mailman in the oven scene, the restaurant/laughing scene, and Tommy and Henry coming home drunk to Karen and her parents house. I’ll never forget those trips

Yeah I remember seeing it in theaters too and I had no idea what to expect going into it. And that movie is the definition of something where going into it not knowing anything about it is the ONLY way to do it, one of those movies where the idea of "spoiler warning" became a thing. To have something like that ruined before seeing it would completely destroy the experience of seeing it. The ending is truly unique, even in the thriller genre where twist endings are the bread and butter of the entire genre.

I didn't see it in the theatre, but when it was new on TV, also didn't know anything about the ending. It was truly a surprise! I think I found it weird then, but still interesting. but I was a teenager, looking back it's a pretty good idea. I should watch it again, I think I only saw it once. If not only for younger John Cusack, who was still picky about his roles as opposed to now, and John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox from Scrubs).

@@merkcityboy834 left after Red Dead. Personally I'm not excited for 6. Since most the top talent has left it means two things. Story won't be as good. Houser had unique writing. It's going to be an imitation. Also when Rockstar went to Take 2, Housers were keeping money grubbers from fucking up the art. It's why their games took awhile. Red Dead was unique in many ways. GTA in my opinion is over. I do still know people who work there though. Oh one more thing. Housers had a music background. So good music would make it above money makers.... I fear for the entire industry because of money.

@@lightmyst764 Rocksteady comes to mind. The first Batman games were clean. I'm very nervous for suicide squad. It will be an indicator of the industry. I have 0 faith in Starfield and really wanted too.

@@tylerriojas6250 What'd you think about the VI leaks? Yeah the story might be crap but in the end most people like shooting and driving stuff so GTA (although not as good as IV or SA) would still be fun right?

I bet they barely knew how huge of a hit Vice City was, I have known people who can barely speak English or barely watch Hollywood movies play that game, anyone with access to a PC or console from that Era had to have Vice City on it, Many people including me praise GTA SA for how amazing it was but it was actually Vice City that brought the whole GTA Franchise to whole another level of fame, but obviously all of this wouldn't be possible without OG GTA and especially GTA3 for the game engine and mechanics

That role was just too perfect. Things like that happen very rarely in life esp in movies. That’s why movies and music like will last centuries after their made, and the ppl who were involved hold a place in the fans heart cause it reminds them of their childhood life. I know it does with me, in good and bad ways cuz it sent me in the wrong path for a min but all lessons in life everybody has to learn

It wasn't as bad as Alec Guinness. But I admired him in a lot of his movies. Hollywood is a very shallow industry. Which is why women lose their mind as they get older with plastic surgery.

I forgot he was in Identity. If you haven’t seen that movie before, you should watch it. Conan was right in saying you can’t really say anything about it. It’s got a few decent actors, including Jake Busey for a bit of a random nostalgic touch, if you remember his dad, Gary.
