The Nothing will stand the test of time as a modern Metal classic album and an all time classic Korn album. It really had such intensity in every respect, and the grooves were absolutely amazing. I was so shocked when I first heard the full album, I was like "Holy Shit! Korn's 13th album!!?? And it's THIS great!? How TF!?"

There’s a lot going on here, with flams, ghost notes and accents galore, but such is his degree of consistency that each time round they all sound identical. Sick drum track by Ray (which evolved into a slightly sanitised version on the album). Its so apparent that he was a session drummer with a music degree due to every note being executed perfectly … his meter is impeccable and those rim-shots! Edit : That open-handed, barking hi-hat groove with the snare, crashes and China is exceptional.

Yeah..... Ray.....for future...let's leave a little bit of the song in the background. You have to be wanting to hear the technical parts of the drums...to be INTO this post. Which don't get me wrong...there will be some. But that's very limited. I want to hear the song...that you hear in your headphones. Just a thought. Korn forever fan...since 94 here. The last 5 isolated drum videos that were uploaded have another upload to coincide with it which is the same performance except with the original track played over the top of it. I much prefer the isolated videos, but it's great to have both (especially seeing as the demand for either is split) If you want that version of Idiosyncrasy, it was uploaded a 1 year ago.

I love Ray, I've seen him live and he's amazing. But I've yet to find any solid drum solo of his on the net. Mario, Eloy, Portnoy, etc are incredible and have solos for us to love. It's Ray's time, SOLO PLEASE! No Korn play-a-longs, no behind the scenes interviews..... show us fellow DRUMMERS what you can orchestrate, you have it and you're holding out bro!!!

Ray, I hope you read this. Please change your snare and bring a little of the old Korn we used to and love. I think the snare is sooo important/essential to the Korn vibe. I'm gonna be honest, I don't like your snare.
