I've managed to do it a few times now. It's a fantastic life skill that everyone should know. Even if you don't need to use it you still get a reward from gaining the skill. It's like finding a glitch in the universe.

Next, he is going to scare them with his boom stick and make the sun go away at the next eclipse. What a massive tool.

"Sure, you could continue to use lighters and matches, but let me show you this very complicated and laborious technique that I use when I cosplay as a jungle warrior on TV."

@@CatatonicImperfect complicated and laborious? What do you think people did before we invented matches? Being able to start a fire from scratch is a great skill to know for anyone in case they ever need it. Anyways, sorry you were dropped on your head as a child.

@@CatatonicImperfect bro did you not watch the video. They said it takes 15 days to travel to buy matches, so this would be extremely useful. It's also not that complicated and not at all laborious - with a little practice it can be done reliably and easily. Ray Mears is the real deal and devoted his life to learning survival techniques well before he was on camera.

Mears doesn't cosplay. He's actually a pretty good survivalist @@CatatonicImperfect
