And on May 16th, 1982 it peaked at #2 {for 4 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Soul Singles chart, the first week it was at #2, the #1 record for that week was "It's Gonna Take A Miracle" by Deniece Williams and for it's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weeks it was "Let It Whip" by the Dazz Band in the top spot... Between 1982 and 1987 the Detroit native, as a solo artist, had fourteen records on the Hot Soul Singles chart, six made the Top 10 with one reaching #1, "Ghostbusters", for two weeks in 1984...
