Gorgeous "countrypolitan" version of the Conway Twitty classic that had the perfect tempo and a pedal steel guitar piped straight down from heaven. Had Ray's recording been produced the same way, both would probably strike me as being of equal value. ( THE ONLY ASPECT I DIDN'T CARE FOR WAS HOW RAY FLUCTUATED THE WORD "KNOW" IN A PHRASE TOWARD THE END OF THE SONG, TURNING THE WORD "KNOW" INTO THREE DIPTHONGS.😵🤪😖
