Couldn't get enough of Ray Stevens growing up! From the 1984 MCA Album "He thinks he's Ray Stevens"! Had to buy every new recording he came out with. I especially like his Michael Jackson version of "Bad" on his 1988 MCA album "I never made a record I didn't like"! And the "Boogerman" song!

One of my favorites for sure along with "Half as much", The Pirate Song and "I don't need none of That". And going way back I loved "Mr. Custer" , "Ally Oop" and "Sgt. Preston" and many more. Alot of credit goes to his sidekick Buddy Kalb without whom Ray would still be hawking Jeremiah Peabody's Poly Unsaturated Quick Disolving Fast Acting Pleasant Tasting Green and Purple Pills with a travelling medicine show. :~) :~) Sorry Ray....I couldn't resist!! Ray Stevens is such a unique talent.....never be another like him.

The Hussies singing "tongue" for the chorus is the best!

One of Ray's funniest...it's the opening track on his 1984 album, "He Thinks He's Ray Stevens".

He's using his own singing voice. In the 1984 recording he sounded like he was trying to imitate Roy Acuff or Ferlin Husky.
