@raystevensmusic When my parents got married her mother (named Margaret) didn't care too much for my dad but thanks to you Mr. Stevens he eventually won her over once he started randomly calling her and quoting your song. And because of that I grew up listening to your albums, thank you for all the laughter good sir.

Oh, yes, he could really let his true vocal talent shine in "Everything is Beautiful." Of course, his OTHER true vocal talent is singing in twang. :-) Has anyone suggested yet that you react to "Jeremiah Peabody's Polyunsaturated, Quick-Dissolving, Fast-Acting, Pleasant-Tasting Green and Purple Pills" yet?

I remember my little brother loved Gitarzan when we were little. But to really appreciate Gitarzan, you need to know who Tarzan was. He was my brother's hero. He had our daddy to hang ropes in the tree where he could swing on them like Tarzan. And he tried his best to convince momma that he must only wear his underware while he was Tarzan. He often ran outside to play in his underware and nothing else. boys will be boys. Me? I just wanted a to play with Cheetah (Tarzan's sidekick that happend to be a chimpanzee) and be able to talk to the jungle animals like Tarzan did. And live in his awesome tree house. lol Anyway Gitarzan was inspired by Tarzan.

I am bored I remember sittin up with the dead when I was young. I was asking my parents about it. They got to reminiscing about the days when people did that. Before funeral homes, the bodies were in homes. Relatives set with the dead around the clock until they were buried. Even after funeral homes became the norm, relatives stayed at the funeral home with the bodies until they were buried. It was a big family affair. At least hear in the culture of the rural south, it was.

Ray is a genius. He's also a 32nd Degree Mason. The man has some great ones! His first big hit was The Streak, in the 1970's.

He's actually had an extensive career. He's got an Emmy for best male Pop Vocalist and more. (He won 2 grammies and was nominated 12 times.) He was the guy you went to if you were famous or not in the music industry and wrote and recorded songs with. He's very versatile with instruments and anything vocal. I do know that today he is stil performing today in a place he opened up in Tennessee. It's both live entertainment for an audience who wants to enjoy food and good wine, ir if your interested his the museum dedicated to music on not just his career, but others. His 30 minute shows was on TV and was doing great, but then Covid hit and they had to shut down awhile. While his place is back open and performing, I'm not sure if its taped anymore.

When I was a kid, my parents were plagued by an obscene phone caller. One night he called well after everyone was asleep. Since the phone was on dad's side of the bed he woke up and answered. He listened for a few moments to what ever the pervert was saying then nudged mom awake, handed her the phone and said "It's for you". then went back to sleep. Mom always laughed whenever she told that story for many years.
